1972 Fox Posted 24 January 2018 Posted 24 January 2018 (edited) Dave: I say Arfa, have you heard about this Hatem Ben lad that the mighty Leicester could be signing? Arthur: Yes Dave he'd be a steal and could well help them to challenge the top 6 again and also win the FA Cup. Edited 24 January 2018 by Blue Fox 72
Heymister2015 Posted 24 January 2018 Posted 24 January 2018 A definite, but also another stellar player would be needed when mahrez goes rather than a direct replacement
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2018 Posted 24 January 2018 Move Ulloa and Slimani on and bring Ben Arfa in. Another attacking midfield/support striker option would be immense, it would mean we didn't always have to rely on Mahrez. 2
Wizerud Posted 26 January 2018 Posted 26 January 2018 So these are the lengths we go to to replace Okazaki. I wouldn't put it past Shinji to see off this latest challenger either! Hard to imagine Simpson wouldn't at least talk to him about how it is at Leicester with Puel tho, even if it's just casual chit-chat. Claude is a smooth operator.
Kilworthfox Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 Wouldn't be surprised to see him in on a loan deal today.

Spiritwalker Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 I think we should be making moves to get him in, even if Mahrez stays 1
Wortho Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 Would love to get Ben Arfa in. He could teach Gray a lot.

cityfanlee23 Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 I don't think HBA has an attitude problem, he was playing for one of the most toxic clubs of the last decade at Newcastle, then was sent on loan to bloody hull after falling out with them. He was quality before, and quality during his time at newcastle, he's been another class since leaving. One blip at Newcastle where he fell out with the club and he's now considered a liability. I'd LOVE him here. Puel knows him. If he wants him, so do I. 1
lcfc sheff Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 Oh sugar he might be foreign, must have an attitude problem right guys?!!!

MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2018 Posted 2 February 2018 Look, if Ben Arfa were willing to let bygones be bygones and put in some effort during a loan spell, then he can be my guest. I can't see anyone losing out on anything with such a deal. Just because Ben Arfa threw hissy fits in the past means he'll do it again, and Puel knows how to handle him. 1
Wymsey Posted 2 February 2018 Posted 2 February 2018 Should've put a loan offer in now, until the end of the season, considering Mahrez' reaction etc wasn't known until transfer deadline day. 1
