Do you think he enjoys it just sitting on the bench and just watching his chelsea team mates play the game, maybe he thinks if he was back at Leicester he would be on the pitch playing. Do you think we miss him on the pitch?

This is a bit unfair. Is it going to be like this for anyone who has the audacity to leave the club.

It was very disappointing how he left but he was an interal part of our story. We've got a decent player in Iborra now. Let's move on.

I have lost respect for him over the last 6 months. He's the new Steve Sidwell except he's actually a good player so it's a shame.

I don't totally blame him though - is it his fault you only get picked for the England squad if you're in the squad of a Champions League club? No, it isn't.

He probably prioritises that (over self respect admittedly).

He's had a good bit of game time since he went to Chelsea.

I thought we got a fantastic price for him considering how poor he was for us since Nov 2016 and rumours he was carrying an injury he couldn't shake. Up until that point he was brilliant for us.

You can't blame him for backing himself and going to a club who will be in the mix up for every trophy they enter.

Well at least he’ll have the chance to sit on the bench on Tuesday/Wednesday nights in addition to weekend games - and go out knobbing London women when he’s not playing.

He was fantastic for us overall but since the title win he was turd. He’s been getting a fair bit of game time recently hasn’t he?

Fantastic for one season,  average all the others

He's gone. Ndidi is playing well, Iborra has been a very good addition and we've got Silva joining the first team next week.

He knew what was going to happen so let him get on with it.

We need two defensive midfielders to replace Ngolo. He was never going to be one of them. Even if he were here now, I'd still chose Ndidi and Iborra to play. I hope he's getting game time again and I'd be chuffed for him if he gets another callup.

Last 6 months or so he's become a sicknote, simple as that.

I wasn't that bothered to see him go, the money that was being offered I said at the time i'd snap their hand off for, what did bother me is how we conducted our business.

"We would only sell if we got a replacement in" was he quotes coming out of the club that night.

But Chelsea fucked us about for so long we ended up going to the wire and completely making a right farce of said replacement, not only that, the replacement cost more because it was going on so late (If you believe the rumours Sporting added extra on because it went so late).

What we should have done is set Chelsea a deadline before the deadline - Not done by then, no sale.

What we should have done is passed any extras costs due to Chelsea um-ing and ah-ring onto Chelsea - Don't wanna pay extra, no sale.

As for Drinkwater going, meh.

I'm not convinced Drinky actually wants to play for England or he wouldn't have pulled out of the last squad.

Maguire got picked while with us (and was going to be picked while at Hull if not for injury).

Is there not another part of the forum for other non leicester footy chatter?

Personally I love bloke and wish him well at Chelsea just like I love all 14 or 15 members of the 15/16 squad that contributed most games.

But....

That was 2 seasons ago so take this crap elsewhere.

One of best players in our best ever era that went on to bigger and better things, he didn't leave gracefully but I still think highly of him. There seems to be much

less resentment towards Kante despite Drinky achieving so much more here.

Debateable some would argue James was better that season . There is no denying he was awesome our title winning year
