SSN saying he's expected for a medical in the next few days with a fee of around £60m.

Say he'll be a city player by Friday.

Now that will certainly be true.

I understand people scepticism about SSN and their link to their betting site but think about it logically.... They can't be wrong ALL the time otherwise it would be counter productive in influencing people to bet. There has to be some sort of credibility to their stories so infant dismissal of anything they say is quite silly.

Sincerely doubt the owners are letting him go for £60m. Add-ons must be extensive, and he's probably forfeited his loyalty bonus.

Good news though- we need to get rid. Shame it's come to that for such a prominent player for us, but there you go.

Onto replacing him then- I'd like to think we will be bringing in two top quality wingers with the money we've got. We can't go into next season with Gray as first choice or we'll be in big trouble.

Great news that Patrick Roberts isn't included in the deal too.

Onwards and upwards!

Top clubs weren't exactly clambering over themselves to get his signature, and how long has this been dragging on for? Mahrez is good but not as good as some seem to think. If he was that good at £60 million he would be seen as a bargain and they have all had plenty of warning that he wanted away from Leicester. I'll just be glad to see him gone and then we can move on.

Was heartbroken at first but after how much this has dragged on and all the actions inbetween I just want him gone now. It's best for everyone.

Thanks and all that but yeah, hope we spend well!

£60m for a 'bench warmer', he's facing stiff competition for a starting place

That's probably what Man City are thinking...................... which is why, with all their money, they are not prepared to spend any more. However I doubt we will ever know what the real price is.

It could well be 60 with city paying that bill.

Which 'city'?

If it's only 60 then we've effectively paid it.

So it would seem but I can't understand the lack of interest.

He has the best highlight reel I've ever seen and stats that leave world class players in the shade but the market has spoken.
