In Jekyll mode he's every bit the 'world-class' player and, as such is worth £90m - and potentially as effective as Coutinho. His technical ability isn't up for debate - because we've all seen what he's capable of. Sure, he will find a comfortable niche playing with ManCity's assembly of gifted individuals and will probably impress - for a time. But he has lacked the drive to perform at City - too often to state that he will perform to this or that level. I don't feel 'shafted' in any way by the valuation/price - first of all, I'm not losing out financially in any way and, secondly, he's become a liability for City. There's been no player in City's history who's done so much to sabotage the good will felt for him. I agree with all of this... except perhaps the very last bit... 5

Wymsey Posted 5 July 2018 Posted 5 July 2018 Bet one of the Mahrez 'fan boys' will know something on this situation from his native Algeria.

Chrysalis Posted 5 July 2018 Posted 5 July 2018 (edited) Poor going from sky "sky sources" 60 million All I can do is laugh. Man city using the media to try and push the price down. Also interesting people still making no sense in the way they thinking, even after I tried to explain how football works. Mahrez generates 10s of millions per season for us based on his EPl performances so far, yet we have people trying to compare it to the housing market and talking as if we have to sell or something. This has been going on for a while, and personally remain unconvinced that Mahrez has a 100% plan in what he wants to do. Never trust the media unless its sourced officially.
Foxes1 Posted 5 July 2018 Posted 5 July 2018 Will he be back at training Monday or waiting at an airport somewhere.

Tango Espana: Spain, 1982 Adidas introduced a new ball which had rubber inlaid over the seams to prevent water from seeping through. The first ball with water-resistant qualities. General wear from kicking however meant the rubber began to wear after a short time and needed to be replaced during the game. The last genuine leather world cup ball.
