i thought they were changing the ancon so its in the close season? maybe i dreamt it? good news for us if it is true

If they are I wasn't aware of it, I just know that in the past it has been January. Ferguson is on record saying that wouldn't sign Africans because of it and I'm sure Pep has said similar in defense of being called a racist quite recently.

Maybe this all a complete front..

Riyad really want to end his playing days at the club ,... he just wants to be appreciated more and be paid £125k/week!!!?

Yeah it was changed last year and will now be in the summer so a non issue. Think the West Ham guy that got fired for similar comments also said that was the reason behind it.

I’m telling you he’s staying.

If you’re not on the wind up, is he happy to stay or have we got to go through all that mardy arsed, tantrum sh1te again ...

Who knows whats going on , but if I was Riyad I would be concerned at the heel dragging of MC, if they really wanted him as a primary signing it would be sorted by now..It does smack of waiting and biding their time hoping we will accept a lower offer than we were asking as the TD gets closer, which would suggest they want him as a squad player not a regular first 11 player.

If he doesn't leave you would hope he can see the owners are buying quality players and with Riyad on top form why cant we realistically expect European football and top 6 next season, and he will be playing football not a bench warmer.

To the point where if he goes, you'll have forgotten how lucky we were to have him at a bargain price and remember the qualities that have earned him many plaudits (obviosuly including the title-winning season)?

And how lucky Riyad was to have played for us,

for us to have given him this opportunity when no one else did,

as fans to have backed him when others wouldn’t,

it works both ways

That’s the stage I’m at, yes.

I hope you're right. I said Puel might work his charm on him and get him to stay.

He's better here where he'll play every game and every week. Plus we're strengthening all the time for another league challenge.

Man City fabs have no idea how good Mahrez is if they think he’s not better than sterling lol I wouldn’t have him here!

Any football fan who wouldn't want Sterling at their club must have serious delusions of grandeur. Unless they support Real Madrid/Barcelona.

Raheem is good but he isn't THAT good. He isn't decisive enough for my liking. He can be a great 2nd-3rd option in a big club but never the best.

Now don't get me wrong, I would have him here in a heartbeat.

To me it appears that Sterling needs 10 goes at it to score or create 1 chance or goal. Luckily at Man City he gets great service. Mahrez will create and take his chances. No worries on that front.
