Since he has not worked in an English-speaking country, I googled Bonnevay to see if I could find a clip of him speaking the language.  Nothing.

Hope he's reasonably fluent.

I liked the guy, was a bit uncertain about his appointment at the beginning but go on to prove me wrong. Strong character whose a good coach perhaps just he voiced his opinions too much too Puel's liking. We'll just have to see if the right man left.

If Claude wants his friend in post, there's clearly a connection. It was obvious him and Michael Appleton never saw eye to eye. A shame as I think he is a very good English coach but hopefully this allows the missing links to start fitting together.

I was Puel Out at the end of last year but if he is here to stay, we must all get behind him.

Good luck Claude and the rest of your coaching team.

Something clearly happened during the bad run and Appleton is taking the fall for it, It would seem.

it's going to be a different scenario for the players with all the senior staff now Puel's people. This make Stowell the only go between the players will know and so It seems the players are going to have to toe the line. This will only end in one of two ways. More success or abject failure.

As for the new man, I'm not sure working in far flung places with poor football  standards qualifies you to work with top players in the premiership.

On the other hand if he's as good as Puel thinks then fresh Eyes can bring a new approach to our tactics.

I'm disappointed to see Appleton go, yet at the same time excited by Puel's additions to the squad and so lets hope this new Asst. Manager follows in that vein and is up to the job.  Otherwise it could be a long season.

Lets see if it's a success before we start crowing.

I'm certainly not crowing, just joking.

Puel is only one or two bad results away from being hauled into the firing line again. A 5-0 thumping away at Man Utd the opening day of the season might get the "Puel Out" brigade up in arms.
