If they are I'll give them a chance but I can't help thinking that's so depressing.

 

Neither have really shown much to think they could be consistent performers in what I hope to be a decent Premier League team.

Occasionally the video would just stop and wouldn't restart, but would start again straight away after refreshing it.

Agree i was very impressed with Mendy and would like to see Musa played down the middle. Lots of second half positives, Ricardo, Nacho. My worry is that we have to many average players on the books. Starting 11 for the final friendly would be.

Much better towards the end as we got closer to our starting XI. 

 

Has to be said, Maddison looked like one of our most experienced players out there. Surely even the most pessimistic person out there must be feeling good about signing him?

Liked the look of Ricardo - got stuck in there straight away. I really dislike how readily Puel plays people out of their preferred position though. 

Musa - based on the matches so far, assuming we played him out wide, he's looked the most likely to create something, and we really benefited from his pace.

Diabate - not convinced at all about playing him out wide. He's always looked best to me through the middle. 

Wes - I have to be honest, I didn't realise how bad the situation was until today.

It just kept buffering on my Desktop, tried my lappie and no problems at all, sat watching it in the garden with a nice cool beer or two

On the basis of that, I don't want Morgan and Diabate starting in any league games.

 

Unsurprisingly we looked better when the likes of Pereira, Ndidi and Iheanacho came on. 

 

I'd also like to see Mendy and Musa get a shot this season, Mendy has looked better than the likes of Iborra, Musa > Diabate.

Three goals and three assists as a bit-part player.

Four goals in five FA Cup matches.

Nine goals and four assists in total in all competitions (30 matches).

 

Performances towards the latter stages of last season indicate we've got a tidy player on our hands, one that is finally worth the money we splashed.

I honestly hope you’re spot on mate. I’m just going on what we’ve seen from him (typically) rather than what we FEEL might happen. We know basically that he’s lightning quick, but not got the best touch.

Thats 3 goals over 9 games per 90 minute metrics as well 3 assists and his 5 goals in 7 appearances in the cups.
