Good pressing from us but after the goal we've played far too many wasteful long balls that Maddison and Iheanacho are never going to win.

 

Benny and Chilwell are a liability, Iborra belongs on the bench, Diabate is crap.

Chilwell and Iborra are generally fine but the sheer amount of times they accidentally smash it straight off for a throw is Musa esque

 

Also dunno why we cross it so much despite having no players who can win headers

Decent run out so far against a good side who press and move the ball well. 

 

We'll look a lot more comfortable on the ball and defensively when Benalouane and Morgan are out of the side- lost count of the amount of times we lost the ball in our own half.

 

We pressed and played some decent stuff though- maybe a bit lacking in intensity and pace, but that will hopefully come when we're match fit and full strength (and with a new winger )

I am not liking the intelligence of our left hand side... diabate and chillwell make me feel uneasy, but some of the football is decent. 

Anyone think Iheanacho might start ahead of Vardy first game?

The main reason we are leaving a lot of space in the RB area is because Pereira makes a run and then someone like Albrighton gives it to the other team.

I've come to the conclusion Chilwell won't be the player we hoped he'd be. A half decent fullback but he'll never be a top player.

Not just that, a few times he's just vacated his position completely and moved well out of the back line into midfield. No run, not marking anyone, he just left a hole.

Some positives and negatives from that first half. Maddison and Iheanacho look sharp. We look really sloppy at the back though.

Diabate can't be played left midfield, needs to be cutting in from the right.
