His tackling is near to Kante level.  Fantastic athelete.  Looks like he will make the odd mistake due to his confidence in his own ability.

 

If this reel is a fair representation, we look like we have two unbelievable signings: him and Maddison.  He makes Maguire look a little pedestrian.

I just had a look at his you tube link, He goes to ground quite a lot. I'm not sure that will work in the Premiership.

He is very quick and reads situations very well. Morgan should hold his hand up and admit he can't keep up with the pace

and move aside for the good of the Team.

Actually the club keeps phoning me up every ten minutes or so to update me on this situation. I wish they'd stop - it's getting bloody annoying.

He was injured before deadline day, but it was only a minor (2 weeks) injury and he would probably be due back by now. He was also still in Germany throughout deadline day.

 

 

This is purely conjecture on my part, but I imagine as there's the permit process to go through he will have been given a few days to make his own arrangements w.r.t. accomodation etc., and will probably be coming into the UK early this week. The permit process shouldn't take too long as he should automatically qualify with >75% games for a top 50 nation over the last two years. If not, the appeals process will take a week or two.

 

He might train with us in the meantime, but as the transfer falls through if he is refused a permit then we may play it similarly to the Adrien Silva situation and not have him train with the squad until the transfer is confirmed.

 

 

I doubt he'll play for us in August, and possibly not until after the next intl' break.

Who's Andre Silva?

 

A couple journos reported on deadline day that if his work permit falls through, the deal is off, so no chance of a similar situation.

Oops! 

 

I know, and mentioned as much. Im just not sure wether there are any legal loopholes/gray areas if we let him train with us before any confirmation.

How much longer until people realize it‘s easier to spell Söyüncü‘s name as it is than continuing to refer to him as „The Turkish lad whose name I can‘t pronounce“?
