We've pulled it back to 56/44 - if you havent voted yet get on it! 10 hours to complete the turnaround

Finished 45/55, good effort, 33,000 votes think that’s the most on one matchup so far.

Playing in a reserve team game. Stan playing cm and Trevor striker. Trevor kept missing the chances Stan created. Piper said Stan was like Zidane cm in reserve level football. Coming off at half time Stan said how can we expect to score with that lad upfront. Got to the changing room, Both tried to hit each other and Trevor apparently knocked Stan down, Gary Parker told Trevor to go to the Physio room to keep the 2 apart. Stan went to the physio room and got knocked down again..

Piper didn't want to leave, Micky Adams told him if he doesn't go, the staff that have helped Matt since he was in our club from the age of 7 will be sacked on the Friday, this was the Wednesday and he had to leave.

Guess you don’t really mess with big Trevor... lol

A story that came out at the time was that Stan rolled an orange to Trev and told him to control that because he’s not controlled anything else or something along those lines lol

Why are the interviewers always rubbish for these things? Hate that she can only read her clipboard rather than actually deep dive into what he's saying

Because they are usually kids that know nothing about the subject.

Heard him say this a lot but surely he understood why. Young player was the asset we had to get some money in.

To think that Peter Taylor saw Trevor Benjamin as a like-for-like replacement for Big Emile. lol

Probably says more about Taylor's abilities than those of Benjamin's, of course.

I really enjoyed this. Oxford Union interviews like this are meant for more of a wider audience - but I felt the presenter asked some decent questions which gave good insight into Brendan Rodgers and Leicester. Maybe not the most hard hitting questions, but definitely good to listen to whilst working during the Lockdown!

Sorry, to be clear you are correct. Piper completely understood why he had to leave for the club to carry on running. He was just always a Leicester fan and wanted to play for us and not leave.

The Benjamin/Collymore story gives me a further indication that Peter Taylor’s man-management skills were atrocious. Two players had a falling out (over a game, not off the field stuff) and he gets rid of the one who, quoting Piper “looked like Zidane” out of position! Manage the situation man, get the guys in the office the next day and tell them to work it out.

He failed miserably here not only because of his piss poor transfer record but because of his ego issue with big characters. Considering the squad he knew he was taking over, he really was a bad choice. We were filled with eccentric characters. He did the same with Cottee and Walsh when both could’ve been valuable voices in that dressing room when the shit hit the fan.

Maybe I just want to have a dig at Taylor because that video brought up some bad memories from a difficult period for the club (I still remember when the Piper deal was announced and I was absolutely gutted).
