Ok so it could have worked out better but at least he had a go.

He's still only 28 and has a future at a high level still. Probably not Chelsea granted but there will be plenty of opportunities for him before he retires.

With how this game’s gone its hard to believe we made the semi finals just a few months ago. 

 

England should try some of the more creative midfielders we have like Shelvey, Hughes and Maddison. 

 

This makes some of Leicester’s home displays last season look thrilling by comparison!

 

Second half has been a bit better though.

Especially with Kane having done nothing for the last few games and "needing a rest", Welbeck doing very little and Rashford drifting in and out. Why not give him his debut at his home ground with 2 of his club playing with him who know his game?
