Maddison out wide could potentially work, if he's allowed to be free and drift inwards similar to Mahrez did. That would mean a lot of reliance on Amartey to not be a complete tool, so that's a worry.

Why are people getting so confused with the formation when surely it’s going to be the same but with Maddison in a narrow left wing position. 

 

Chilwell and Maddison could link up quite well together.

I'm surprised we don't have Albrighton in the first 11; he's showing faith in Ghezzal so let's hope that works. A bunch of players in the team who may be low in confidence though including Amartey and Evans is a worry.

This worries me a bit. At least we have a set midfield now, but the constant changes to the back line make me nervous.

Where's our width? Where's Soyuncu? Doing Variety performances?

 

Four at the back, two defensive midfielders, a number 10, two strikers and Ghezzal roaming? 4 2 1 1 2? Don't you ring that for advice these days? Or three at the back, Chilwell and Ghezzal (maybe Ricardo's been a naughty boy?) as our width, two DMs, and Maddison feeding Ian and Vardy? I hope it's the latter because the former sounds insane.

 

Maybe there's method to the madness. Here's hoping!

55 million pounds spent on defenders, no even in the starting 11.

 

Reminds me of when we spent £50 Million on Musa and Slim who couldn't find there way in to resume team.
