The club, for all of it's faults on the pitch, does some incredible work off the pitch. This, the memorial garden, sending representatives to funerals, donations to local charities and hospitals, the yearly acknowledgement to Everton regarding Bernard Murphy.

 

You really can't buy moments and touches like these.

As much as id love a statue of Vichai to commemorate his memory, i think any petition etc needs to be put on hold for a while. We need to respect the family whilst they grieve and battle through this, we're all for the same side but they need their privacy.

Something should be built where the helicopter went down and were people lost there lives. A resting place.

Just signed up to send my deepest wishes to all Foxes fans and familys of the people concerned in this terrible tragedy, didnt know alot about your owner until today but it seems he was a fantastic human being.

Really has touched me today and l have no ties with your club so feel how much it must be effecting your club.

Condolences from a Leeds fan. Rivalries aside we had a good chat on train with some of your lads when you went to Wembley for the charity shield. We were on our way to QPR for an opening day defeat. We've had some awful chairman. I hope your success carries on and the top clubs don't have it all their own way. It's good for football what your chairman achieved. MOT.

Saw him in a corridor near the Gallery as I was leaving, Helicopter was on the pitch then, by the time I walked down the stairs it was mayhem.

Shell shocked and at loss for word. Can't even begin to describe how I feel.

Many thanks to all the fans from other clubs for their sympathies and kind words, that meant a bunch.

 

On a side note a massive props to the admins for the wonderful posts and reps restrictions rules which left me unable to either express myself in one of the club's darkest days nor to thank the fans from other clubs coming here.

I am sure that the city and the club will do something to commemorate Mr. Vichai. But for now, it still is very difficult to accept the loss. A tragedy that has befallen Leicester, Thailand, the respective families and all football lovers. My condolences to the loved ones.

Been to the stadium, struggling to hold it together even getting in the car to go there. While driving there a friend was on 5 live talking about it and he broke down which set me off.

 

Got there, sobbed like a baby and laid my flowers and have just been for a beer to clear my head with another friend. Tough to be like that in front of friends but it helped.

Football and Lcfc has been a big part of my life since the late sixties or more specifically the 1969 FA cup final. Although probably now considered more of an armchair supporter I always look for and listen  to anything connected to my beloved Lcfc. To say I am in a state of utter shock and devastation as the events unfold is a massive understatement and like you all send out my heart felt condolences and sympathy to all of our FAMILY who are suffering like myself and especially to our chairman’s relations and of others onboard. 

Went to the club this morning to pay my respects and it was an overwhelming experience an atmosphere of sheer bewilderment being just metres away from this tragic accident site. 

I feel I must thank the supporters of other clubs for all the comments posted.

What is brilliant about this forum, is that everyone is in here talking about how they're hurting about the incident and the amazing things this man has done for our club and us. This has stopped so many people from sitting in silence and hurting on their own, it is bloody brilliant what this community can do when they get together

Surely Tuesday has to be cancelled. Nobody is in the right frame of mind to play or watch.

November 10th will be emotional with the commemorations that take place anyway.
