It's shambolic in places, I feel for Puel. He's been handed a woeful strike force barring Vardy, we desperately need to invest in a winger and the CM's all flatter to deceive and don't create.

He had all summer and probably longer to assess what we needed and obviously deemed what we had good enough. It was known for a while that Ulloa and Slimani would be offloaded but Puel did not press for a new striker. Same with CM he’s placed his faith in an unfit James and a returning Mendy. I dont even want to get into Ghezzal.

Puel has to take some responsibility for this, he cant be absolved of everything. He’s the manager at the end of the day he should be highlighting to the board where we need improvement.

That wasn't a wavelength issue ,again Nacho lacked commitment. He doesn't get in where it hurts. That was a great ball from Albrkghton ,

Nacho should have got a foot on it...

Soyuncu, hasn't been bad,he's had a decent game, until that blackout,he should of stayed on his feet, but Keeper should of done bettera go of his

class should of stopped that.

I keep defending Nacho, but he's making it hard. His commitment for a run is there, but not seeing a possible end-product.

If he doesn't turn his game around before January (I did give him this season).  He could be leaving us in tears.

Not only in this game,Puels looks have not been those that seem to support Nacho. I reckon Nacho has got it,but up to now hasn't committed

to attack/move completion. He also stops in midflow....Totally opposite to Vardy, but I don't want to show there are comparisons.

Nacho has his own style,he's got to prove it!!! For his and our sake!!!

I agree, i hoped Iheanacho would come good but performances like tonight dont help his case. Great chance in the 1st 5 mins and then not getting near Albrightons balls in just don't help his case that he'll ever replace vardy. Our lack of attacking options is embarrasing!

I really don't like midweek games, injuries that probably would be ok for the next weekend haven't healed, "rest" and rotation and it is all disjointed.

Not excusing this, however.

So push Gray into the fray ..... but please let’s do something with passion and desire, Puel needs to be brave right now and the players need to back him ...

Unfortunately outside of the starting 11 and a couple of subs, the squad isn't good enough for where we want to be (pushing for a top 7 place).

Hopefully we can get another winger in in January. I'm not sure if we'll get another striker though, we might persist with Vardy.

I've quite clearly just said I'd prefer Iheanacho (in my original post) as the alternative is equally is bad.

Answer on a forum, not a postcard.

That's not going to help though if he's shit.

Half of these muppets are out of their depth in the u23s, sure it will be ok though trusting puel with another transfer window.

We really struggle against teams smart enough to set up at the same level or just behind our midfield. Our back 6 simply cannot pass. Meanwhile Chilwell is having an awful game, and bc our MF cannot get the ball fwd we see Maddison tracking too far back to get involved.
