Reckon the club have been talking to potential replacement behind the scenes and Puel's days are numbered if LCFC fail to get a positive result against Wolves.

I don't think the club are as knee jerk as the fans even if Top didn't have bigger concerns, so hopefully not

We moan about a lack of an inspiring character and some actually want the most monotone, dull manager who has graced the Premier League in recent years.

After some research, history checks and considered analysis I still think he looks like Billy the fish.

Really? I've always thought he looked more like "The Simpsons" Mayor Quimby!

People have been posting that they reckon he's a bad result or two away from the sack every week since about last March though and been wrong every time. Why would this time be different?

I'll take your money.

You reckon? I know they’re not firing as well this season but he’s loved there and I can’t imagine him wanting to ruin that without a send off... given his ego

A lot of people turning their nose up at every experienced manager that's being linked.

I wouldn't be against giving a former top player their first proper management job.

They do it all the time on the continent. Who knows, could work out well and there doesn't seem to be an outstanding candidate out there who is already a manager.

I just think he must find his job pretty boring at this point - if the money's right etc I can't see him turning down a club with our ambition in the greatest league in the world.

What's knee jerk about this? The writing has been on the wall for quite a long time.

The fans are fickle and jumping on two or three bad results occuring in a short period of time, ignoring that that's the nature of being a midtable side. I think our board has a more long term vision than the fans who seem to have the memories of goldfish

It's all football politics, brendan knows that celtic's reign is coming to a end with rangers rising from the ashes. His journalist mates spread rumours around that Puel said this or that and bingo they put out story's in the press and talksport radio ( they been banging on for 6 months that he needs to go back to the Premier league to prove that he a good manager) say that leicester city fc are desperate to sign him and our fans go wild!

Hasn't Esteban Cambiasso run this  club before?

It's not just 2 or 3 bad results though is it.. you're the stats man, you tell me how many games we have won at home this season?

I'm also keen to get your opinion on how we've played as well? I can tell you outside of the Man City game it's been nothing short of crap and frankly the fans have had enough. Poor home results, poor style of play, poor tactics and disrespecting fans... How do you think it's going to end for him?

Begrudgingly, probably yeah. He's such a perineum as person though, Puel's boring but at least he's not so full of himself and football management's David Brent.

I hope it’s true I think his style of football is good to watch. We are a good option for most managers wanting a job in the premier league. Our squad is young and talented just needs a different approach to what Puel is offering.

if he can get us playing anything like any of his previous teams baring reading I’ll be delighted.

Won 4, drawn 2, lost 5 at home. 1.27 points per game, which would translate to a 48 point season if that form was across all games (away form, W5, D2, L4 - translates to a 58 point season if across all games). So, yes it is just a few bad results. We're doing better away than at home, and I think a major part of that is how utterly toxic our fans are, but home form is hardly terrible, it's standard midtable fare.

We've played good in spells, poor in other spells. Just like every other midtable club. If the fans have had enough of being a midtable club with all that that entails then they need to get a grip or fuck off and support someone like man city, and I don't really care which they do.
