easilee Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 No other reason for this topic than to tell the Albrighton haters to PHUCK OFF and go and learn the basics of good football ! Albrighton my Lord Albrighton......................
easilee Posted 26 December 2018 Author Posted 26 December 2018 Just now, Manwell Pablo said: In before the lock Lol !
spacemunky Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Always loved the lad. Maybe sometimes he sails a cross wide, but there's never any question of his work rate. Great to see that rewarded today.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Crap isn't he our Marc .. came on a free what a waste of money he has been.
jayfox26 Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Great goal and great energy but he did make me shit my pants when he kept giving the ball away in our half. I do love him though, top player for us. The work rate of him and Hamza is astounding!
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 on topic before lock I don’t know how you can dislike mark Albrighton as a person or as a part of the playing squad.
Sampson Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 He can be a streaky player sometimes but we always look much better with him in the side. But he's currently in one of his excellent streaks of form where you wonder why he never played for England. Absolute legend overall though who scored probably the most memorable goal in the club's history against Sevilla. I hope he ends up playing 400 games for us.
Tuna Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 He cost NOTHING. What a signing. He'll be here into his mid 30s our James Milner.
Langston Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 We have a thread like this after every decent game he has and virtually everyone agrees he's great, there really isn't any need for another based on a vocal minority that spring up every now and then.
Keiriel Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 I wonder what Puel is doing with Albrighton at the moment. I mean, his work rate has never been questioned, but his role seems to have changed in that he's getting on the end of chances instead of creating them, not to mention, his off the ball movement is being used to better effect.
Chester Dontlie Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Immense workrate is something we all knew about but his positioning for that header was sublime. Is Albrighton the new Vardy?

Which player do you really admire who never lets you down with an off performance every now and then ? Albrighton is a player who barely affects the team when he's off form, but improves the team immensely when he's ON form
StriderHiryu Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Both Puel and Albrighton deserve a ton of credit. He has changed his game significantly. Before he was our most direct player and always crossed it in first time. This wasn't a bad thing per se as he created a lot of chances but he was very one dimensional. Defensively he's always been great and puts in a shift every week. But now going forwards he has adapted his game. It's not just his finishing but his use of the ball and runs off the ball. Just look at his movement for the goal, it's Vardy-esque, he runs toward the ball to draw in the defender and then checks his run to make the opportunity. https://streamja.com/Lo3K I am loving the "new" Marc Albrighton!

Spot on. Seems a top guy and a top pro. And to think we got him on a free. People talk abour Vardy, Mahrez and Kante as our best ever signings, Albrighton is up there!
whoareyaaa Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Think he has had a great season there was times last season where he was too one dimensional but is currently playing with that something extra to his game and is bang in form and as we know we can always rely on him for his work rate and commitment

urban.spaceman Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 He just gives everything. Superb player, wonderful guy to boot.

rachhere Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 I love him and always have. He really did have a dip in form for a while, but he’s back to his best and some.
katieakita Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 A good solid professional who gives 100% more often than not a steady solid 7 or 8 out of 10 week in week out. Players must love a guy who is a team player like him, all good teams need a core of steady players like Marc, for a free transfer and villa cast off has been an absolute success
