Albrighton

Let's be honest, Marc's crossing is erratic. But his work rate is consistently second to none, and that rightly elevates him above more gifted players challenging for his place.

He is in great form at the moment, full of confidence, and when he is, he is a massive asset to the team.

on topic before lock I don’t know how you can dislike mark Albrighton as a person or as a part of the playing squad.

Am about four pages late but was gonna say this. Surely nobody "hates" Marc Albrighton? Even if you find him a bit one dimensional or prefer other players, he's an absolute hero. Works like a trojan, often pops up and delivers when we really need it.

Might not score a lot but he scores key goals. Man for the big occasion.

First ever champions league goal, winning goal in a champions league last sixteen, cmon.

To me, his work rate alone makes him come across as an individual that appreciates every single moment of being a professional footballer. He never gives up, always gives of his best and is an inspiration to colleagues and supporters alike.

Will always be one of the top 3 automatic names ,on gameday playing list!!!

Also one of the first  I would bench,to introduce a different tactic,or player...

This player for me,is underrated,he is not just a runner, but has a fair amount of technical skills,I still argue one of our ever best crossers,

not his fault if he either runs his socks off,or through quick thinking and skill finds he is ready to cross, and nobody,or only one player who is supporting

Making a  central run...

Sorry if some posters don't agree, but since we signed him,he will always IMO be considered

one of the most consistent, die for the gameday top  3 "Mr Leicester" player in these last few seasons...

like any player he will have very avg.games, but he's such a solid p!ayer,it's wasted time trying to pick up and analyse mistakes/errors.

We often forget how awfully injury prone he was before he came here. This was one of the reasons Aston Villa refused to give him the contract he wanted. He didn't warrant it. He could barely string together couple of 90 mins games in a week. Since he arrived at City he's been playing non-stop and is on of our least injury prone players.

Overall, Albrighton is a streaky player. He has patches like this where he is immense and he also has periods where he is terrible.

Let’s look at what he’s been through in the past 3-4 years,

lost his mother in law in the Tunisian terror attacks, was instrumental in our title success,

scored our first ever champions league goal,

like the rest of us has experienced the tragic loss of vichai,

yet how he conducts himself on and off the pitch is that of an exceptional professional,

and any young kid wanting to know what makes a good pro and someone who’s dealt with extreme pressure on and off the pitch should look no further than Marc albrighton

As a professional footballing man, there are none better, he is supreme. An absolute legend and for me we tick better with him than without. I’d like to believe he is a really top bloke who I’d enjoy the company of.

He’s been brilliant the past few games. His crossing is either tremendous or dreadful though. He works so hard and everyone in the squad should follow his work rate.

Humble bugger is our Marc

Just said on MOTD his corner which led to Ricky's was rubbish

A great and honest attitude alongside his unquestionable workrate is the lesson all kids dreaming of a football career should learn first.

Once that's nailed they can work on funny handshakes

Love that he scored a few recently, needs to adds more goals to his game and looks like he has. One of our best ever signings absolute bargain.

With the engine he has i’d be tempted to convert him into a CM. He’s very similar to James Milner and I think he would adapt very well. Would help solve a few problems we have as well.

A long while ago, someone on here said they thought he would be the last of the title winning XI to be playing regularly for the club.

It seemed a little far-fetched then, but less so now. He does what is necessary.

Hoping Gareth Southgate is watching him!

Should have been watching him from the international dug out for the past 4 years, especially when you see some of the players that have been awarded caps. The most consistent player on city`s books over the past 4 years.and that is saying something!

More Paul Lambert decision really just wouldn't play at all, funny the three manager's before him at Villa MON, Houiller, McLeish all liked Albrighton.

Definitely should be in the England Squad. A great player to bring on especially if chasing a result.

Much better than Dirty Delph.
