Clarkey123 Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 We had a quality defence today that could win the ball back, then give it too our central midfield, who lose it... then we win it back again, then lose it, win it back, they make a terrible mistake then our high quality striker takes his chance as per. The central midfield really does seem to be the problem, credits to hamza today he was excellent for a young man with little premier league game time. Wouldn’t seem a bad idea to get a couple of quality players in front of him who are calm on the ball and can link play/ do the basics well. Ricardo - absolute quality. All the right attributes and seems to actually have a brain when it comes to playing the right pass or take the touch to create himself some space. Bottom line we need some real quality passers of the ball in midfield who can dictate play. Would love Aaron Mooy or someone like that to make use of the ball once we’ve won the ball back like we always do...

We have the 2nd most bad touches in the league. I just went through the teams and we're only topped by Everton who have 380

foxy boxing Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Apart from the Cardiff result we have had a great run of wins. the Everton game was poor for both sides but we got the result. our defence is looking good and the way we play seems to suit playing against the bigger teams rather than those we are expected to beat!
Tom12345 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 https://www.google.com.hk/amp/s/inews.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/everton-vs-leicester-player-ratings-jamie-vardy/amp/ Fairly generous with his ratings for the Leicester players but relatively speaking got them sort of right. He got it right that Simpson was immense and rated Evans above MacGuire but giving Ndidi a 5. He also got it right that at the end of the day Vardy was the difference. One chance one goal. Legend.

Padraig Reid Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Albrighton should be first name on the team sheet. End of.

Even when he can't run because he played 4 games in 10 days, when he is suspended, when he is injured or when he will leave. Puel out ! (or maybe brains in)

TheLittleBigMan Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 3 wins and a loss. Someone needs to sort this team out for fu*ks sake. Honestly.
Md9 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Not the best game but a great result. Wouldn’t mind a load of shite 1-0 wins from now until the end of the season if it means finishing in 7th. Vardy to hopefully go on a little scoring run now
Parafox Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 No matter what the result, you'll never please all the (supporters) all the time. We could beat Manure 5-0 but there'd still be those on here still saying we were shit and Puel made poor formation/substitution decisions. Take a win for what it's worth, 3 points. Those Pearsonites who wanted him to stay/be reinstated are probably the same blinkered short-sighted plebs that want CP gone because he doesn't meet give them what they want every game. There's no guaranteed win. Just ask Guardiola x 2, Silva and Sarri.
whoareyaaa Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 I think he needs to allow Mendy to come forward abit more and let Nididi shield the defence, Mendy is a tidy player, can beat a man and has a good short and long pass on him... let him roam forward a bit more lets see what hes made of, im sure he would be capable.

Gamble92 Posted 3 January 2019 Posted 3 January 2019 Yet again as a fanbase so many who hate the manager seem to have the right answer for every single problem with have in our team. Puel has done so many things in the Chelsea, Man City and Everton games that no one will have suggested on here. That's why hes the manager and you are sat in the Family Stand eating Pies.

Japanfox Posted 3 January 2019 Posted 3 January 2019 Fantastic results over the festive period. Actually not too disappointed that we lost to Cardiff as they welcome us and grieved with us at their place. Hope they stay up just for that. Happy New year

Happy New year Wouldn't say I'm not still disappointed with the result, but I've got a lot of time for them after that game. Certainly enjoyed getting one over on Everton and Man City's fans way more than I would have done against Cardiff.
broughtonblue Posted 3 January 2019 Posted 3 January 2019 Another game where the result deflects away from another shocking performance. We have no idea how to break teams down that don't attack us. Judging by some comments on here it seems a case you actually had to be there to see how bad it was.

So when we play well and lose that's bad. When we at as well as the opposition and win that's bad. When we play on counter attack and win that's bad. You're life must be really shitty if you can't appreciate things.

First half was extremely poor I will agree, second was between okay and decent. We defended well and posed a bit of a threat.

All these bloody wins, grrrr so annoying that it keeps happening and keeps deflecting from us being shit.
