Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Puel out now. Been on the fence. Now no going back. Disgusting
somebum Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 And the wind changes direction again! Laughable, gullible people... should have seen the signs earlier

Fridgechef Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Though I like Puel, especially his development of our young players, his team sheets are ALWAYs very conservative, sometimes we pull it out the bag, bit like today, we needed something fresh... So he did the same old thing... 3 defensive mids... Why? At least have a 3 with someone creative in there.

Nothing to do with Puel. Bored of talking about him Shame we couldnt get back into it. Harvey Barnes looked great. Not staying on here to read all the boo boy Puel out idiotic comments Ah another Puel in muppet... one word PRATT !
Ceirboy Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Clearly getting past players isn’t part of the training process throughout the week.

Definitely not Puel's fault for the individual errors leading to the penalty, but unfortunately it's not all that much of a freak result, is it? These tepid home performances are almost gut-wrenchingly inevitable. As is conceding within quarter of an hour, or on the stroke of half-time.
Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Looking forward to the inevitable new manager bounce and being in the same position we are now when the players inevitably down tools in about 12 months. Shit tactics first half, no doubt. Some of the performances of our players though.......pathetic.
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 ****ing defend him, I dare you! Utterly, utterly abysmal. Too little too late yet again. Losing to another bottom 3 side at home is precisely why we will never achieve anything under this useless ****wit. 10 men ffs! We are a shambles.
adamkhalifa Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 No way were we ever going to score 3 goals. All the previous defensive, slow and ponderous style of play is going to have an impact when trying to win a game. I would be surprised if they even train to attack.
Vacamion Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Just now, Ian Nacho said: Suppose Cardiff, Palace and Newport were freaks too. You utterly misunderstood what I posted. Probably deliberately. To have a dig at Puel. Sheesh. By freak of a game, I meant them going down to 10 so they’d park the bus even more and immediately scoring a breakaway from a brain fart by Mandy. We attacked and attacked, but they defended like heroes. Freaky.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Wolves, Liverpool, Man U and then spurs... might not win a game for a while

Not staying on here to read all the boo boy Puel out idiotic comments That’s easy for you to say Claude. Seriously though; performances are not this manager’s responsibility now ?. A laughable position to take which has no credibility whatsoever.

Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 We'll know now if Top is on the fence over Puel, if he is he'll go after that.
bfox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 That was just shit. In reality, Southampton knew what they needed to do, force us out wide constantly and get us to box it. We literally have no idea how to break teams down.
oxtonfox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Well that was worth dibbin out of the FA Cup for. Very poor against a bang average side suffering injuries and down to 10 before half time. I wont say anymore while I’m seething at this time. Not good to react immediately so I’ll just go back and sit in the corner with a cold towel.
Monsell1976 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Anyone who plays that defensive against a bottom 3 side that is depleted deserves to be sacked. I’m bored of these over paid wankers, seasons over by mid jan, I’m showing the same enthusiasm as the manager and players for the rest of the season, so see you all 2019/20 season have a good summer. Bored of watching a team set up not to concede against a poor side rather than going out to take the lead, and then be defensive, and can’t believe at my age watching football still gives me the hump this much.
Tanya Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 We seem almost incapable of playing intracate passes that can break a team down. The only way we can score is a blistering counterattack
Jaspa Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Biggest problem is that was supposed to be a responce to the Newport FA Cup final disgrace. Lads didn't look at all arsed until 30mins in when Soton started kicking Chilwell about, we did everything conceivable to give the two goals away.
FreoBondy Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Wow, that's one of the worst losses I've seen us have. A whole half against a 10 man team, but we somehow couldn't settle and work our way through them. So disappointing. Very poor.
