Nod.E Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Sack him. If we started the game without one of N'Didi or Mendy it would have been very different. Game would have looked a lot more like the second half, but it was too late by then. They shut up shop, and as we all know we do not score against sides that shut up shop.
BenTheFox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 There are things that people level at the manager that aren't fair. However, performances like this have been far too common and even I'm bored of it.
Bazly Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Puel next manager sack odds just fell through the floor at 4/11, I wonder why?
vanity Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Our lazy, indifferent play in the 1H cost us the match. Southampton played hard for 90 minutes, we played hard for 45. They got all the 50-50 balls the 1H bc they showed up to play, and our lads simply refuse to play hard for 90 minutes unless we play a top side. Pathetic.
Kalacs_Orthopedic_Shoe Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Shane Long.......could have put the kids on it!
AjcW Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 ****ing players man! Need to show some damn responsibility!! Losing against a new manager who is making a hell of an impact makes it much worse for Puel...
Foxxed Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Playing three DMs for 45 minutes was questionable but Mendy lost that match tbh. Good to see Barnes settling in - should provide a better attacking threat.
Jonezy Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Meh. At least we tried, but we are not good enough. Can't keep giving gifts away like Mendy and Albrigthon the last 2 games. Rarely have I been less excited.
knitro Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Going to give myself a 48 hour break from this place.
AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Unprofessional performance from us in the first half, took the game away from us. Nothing to do with Puel. Bored of talking about him Shame we couldnt get back into it. Harvey Barnes looked great. Not staying on here to read all the boo boy Puel out idiotic comments
LestaAl Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Puel out......bore, bore, boring ...christmas was the aberration after all
coolhandfox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Once again a slow, negative start, players first thought is to play backwards.
Tuna Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 An utterly miserable result, at home to a Southampton team stricken in the relegation zone and ravaged by injury who played half the game with 10 men. The boos at the end tell their own story.
BlueSi13 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Out now or certainly out at the end of the season. Never wanted by the fans, has absolutely no bond with the fans and the club must realise that the toxicity will continue regardless of him getting a couple of flukey results here and there. All very good having a long term plan, but when the football on this pitch is as bad as this (with no evidence his style will ever change) for me it's time to get a new team in to oversee our development (personally I think Howe would be ideal for us).
Legend_in_blue Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Noone on here can give a justifiable reason to not play Silva ahead of all of those 3 DMs. Mismanaged by Puel. Simple as that.
ThurmastonFox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Looking forward to hearing about the qualiteeee, intensitee and positivitee. Up the citeeee
Guest Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 positive point. The number of U22s on the pitch in the second half - and they were the best players.
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 I genuinely wonder whether Top will sack him after today. We couldn’t equalise, at home, against 10 men with a full strength side No excuses today.
