There are several intelligent articulate ex pros who played in the lower leagues who could do with a gig on BBC or BT Sport. Why employ ex PL players who dont need the money and don't really contribute much to the discussion of the game? You don't have to be a top player to talk about top tier football.

 

I remember watching a CL game on BT Sport with Gerrard as a pundit. Garbage analysis, garbage opinions.

She can give more insight and analysis in one episode than the likes of Murphy/Mills/Jenas can give in a whole season.

She has twice the brain cells Paul Ince has. Sad that she has to work extra hard to win over some people when the likes of Ince, Sutton, Mills etc spout total diarrhoea consistently.
