Maybe, just maybe a back 3 with Ricardo and Chilwell (if fit) as wing backs, I’d love to see that formation, I’d take a draw at the moment just to stop the rot.

Maguire was clueless as at fault for the 4th goal palace scored.

 

Plus morgan and evans partnership looked decent against brighton last time out.

Interesting what will happen. I hope the players play with freedom and some pride in the foxes shirt. I would mix it up a bit and go back to basics. Get some grafters out there and put in a shift. By what Claude said yesterday before getting the boot, unlikely Chilwell fit in time.

Not a whole lot different from last night,certainly not Simmo or Sginj though, the first choice back 4 picks itself for me now, Wilf and YT works very well as centre mid pairing, it`s just down the caretakers choice of formation for the rest.

To make us a bit more solid you could play Simpson RB and push Ricardo forward but it is less the players and more the tempo we need to get right,

Simpson and Wes were bullied by some league 2 no marks in January and were pathetic vs wolves. Why people have them in the team I do not know.

Assuming Chilwell's still unavailable, same starting XI with Iheanacho in for Ghezzal. He's looked OK when coming on in that position in the last two games and I can't bear another round of Gray and Ghezzal's "who can be less effective" competition. Sounds harsh but I don't want to see Simpson or Okazaki starting for us ever again, they're finished.
