reynard Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 We need to win but we musn't lose. Though it goes against attacking football we need to shore up the team and I would personally play Hamza and Mendy as the sitting midfielders. Sounds like Chilwell will still be out so the back 5 picks itself really. Tielemans looked completely drained when he came off so don't know if he will be able to play. Vardy is our only goalscorer so has to start but otherwise you have to pick from inexperienced young players, badly out of form players or those just not good enough.
lgfualol Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Ward Rickers Evans Maguire Chilwell Gray Ndidi Tielemans Barnes Nacho Vardo Dunno but let us win
Tuna Posted 23 February 2019 Author Posted 23 February 2019 Just now, lgfualol said: Ward Rickers Evans Maguire Chilwell Gray Ndidi Tielemans Barnes Nacho Vardo Dunno but let us win 4-4-2 yeah I like it.
Finnegan Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Looking forward to the first match post-Puel. Can't wait.
Bezzanator89 Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 D-Day for Claude. No question. Win or bust. Nothing else will do. Although a win will only prolong his stay of execution. I would not be surprised if the club are already looking at other managerial options after today.
AllGoneTitsSchlupp Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I just can’t wait for another poll! Love a poll.
Mr Weller Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I reckon he would keep his job if we win on Tuesday. Top will not be bullied. However, if we lose I think it’s likely Puel would e gone.
Jattdogg Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Normally id say 2-1 but given our morale, lack of creativity and goals a 1 nil loss or 0-0 dog fight If puel is fired i expect 10 nil no less.
Dames Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 If Puel is in charge expect him to shit the bed in terms of team selection like the Southampton game. He’ll go for Kasper Simpson Morgan Evans Chilwell if fit Ndidi Mendy Tielemans Maddison Gray Ricardo Very defensive line up as he’ll be desperate to get a point on board - any point.
LestaAl Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Hoping we play positively but will give it a miss as am away. Tbh can’t say I am too bothered☹️
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Somehow we’re still 12th, 32 points with maybe 8 more points needed for safety, at the moment it’s hard to see where the next point is coming from, if we lose this then it’ll be a relegation scrap for us.
Beechey Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I'd rather us just go for pretty much the same team as today, to be honest - it's our best squad Schmeichel Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Maddison Gray Vardy Barnes
The Doctor Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 I expect he'll be in charge because of how tight the turn around is, last game baring a miracle. Ward over Schmeichel for me, if you're getting yer da to fight your battles, at least show up on the pitch. Chilwell back in if he's fit, Gray over Ghezzal and I'd really not be fussed by Iheanacho leading the line.
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 He had 2 weeks to prepare the team for Palace and quite frankly does not deserve any more last chance saloons he’s got to go.
woznotwos Posted 23 February 2019 Posted 23 February 2019 Dreading this already ! Ready for pisstake's at work as ive put up with it all bloody year so far . I'm the laughing stock ATM . Embarrassing.
