Somebody's pushing an agenda here. Is it Brendon, Lee or the Celtic Board? 

Lee clearly is not staying at Celtic as he is Brendons man and is the most hated man at Celtic before Brendon left. The Celtic Board want to get rid of him and desparately want another club to take him so they don't have to pay compensation by sacking him. Funny that either Lee or the Celtic Board are sending out flyers suggesting they want him to stay and that clubs un Germany, Belgium and America want to hire him. Trying to drum interest for him to leave. 

Or Is it Brendon, who wants a job at Leicester for his long term pal.

Its going to be a interesting summer, one thing is sure Brendon clearly doesn't want Eduardo Macia to extend his own contract beyond the summer. I don't blame Eduardo if he leaves in the summer, clearly Brendon doesn't want to work with him!

I'm afraid so. He has been heavily involved in the problems caused at Hamburg and Sunderland.

Surely we'll research his past performance and judge him on that?

 

A Head of Recruitment should be judged on his previous buys but looking at the players he signed for Sunderland that were a success it's only Defoe who was a known quantity with no sell on value and Van Aanholt for £1.7m.

 

The rest is pure filth (not in a good way) despite over £100m being spent. Making mistakes is part of the job in football recruitment but he has had two successes amongst loads of absolute failures. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn occasionally.

They will be expecting and entitled to receive compensation for Congerton.

 

i believe Macia is already signing players for Bordeaux so him sticking around won’t be an issue

We have changed them a few times in recent years but each time we find more good players (and some bargains) than turkeys. Its a team thing and anyone with a brain wont be coming in to strip down the systems that are in place but to add to them. Im not sure how up to date this is but here is a glimpse of the team..

Pretty sure it is agreed that Macis is off to Bordeaux in the summer, think he is only still at the club at the moment because we wanted him to stay during the January transfer window

Posters on the Celtic forum are laughing their heads off at us now, they can't wait until Lee joins us. They wanted him sacked for ages and now they are suggesting we going to pay them compensation to get him out of Celtic. Celtic fans taking the complete p*ss out of us

The Jack Rodwell signing looked great business at a glance, similar to us signing Iheanacho.

 

When you dig deeper you realise that these are probably reputation buys rather than judging a player without a pre conceived opinion. Always be wary when much bigger clubs are happy to sell you their "best young players", if a signing sounds too good to be true it probably is.

This stinks. Nothing in the article says it's nailed on, but I'm worried because Percy is usually reliable and wouldn't write it without some sort of substance behind it. I'm prepared to give everyone a chance, but I don't like the way this is heading.

Having watched the Sunderland documentary on Netflix recently I cannot put into words how much I don't want this man at the club.

 

Tell the board it's required viewing before hiring him.

 

Hopefully he's just trying to drum up interest for his services
