Club 100 - Vardy

They’ll be talking about Vardy in 100 years time - and not just in Leicester.

A remarkable rags to riches fairytale and we were there to witness it.

I grew up watching Lineker and he was my boyhood hero but Vardy has eclipsed him now.

Is this the same Vardy who is ‘over the hill’, ‘lost his pace’, ‘having a bad season’?

Etc...

Well done Jamie for continuing to make the nay-sayers look very foolish

A REAL Leicester Legend...

I'd like to apologise for putting a fair amount of blame on JV for his shortcomings this season... quite apparent style makes a difference.

It's no coincidence that 3 of his 4 goals have come from "that" through ball that we'd simply stopped providing him.

He has lost pace though. He's not slow, but certainly lost pace.

Still an excellent (and very clever) player, though.

He'll go down as our greatest ever legend no doubt, like Shearer at Newcastle, Matthews at Blackpool or Le Tissier at Southampton.

Just be glad we were here to witness him.

16 goal contributions this season, 12 goals and 4 assists. Considering the lack of service he’s had for the last 6 months that is an impressive return!

still 8 games left to add to his tally :vardy:

the boy is a legend. amazing story and as I've said many times on here before he is a much better footballer than people give him credit for. People who don't follow Leicester just see the pace and think that's him but he has got some great touches, sublime passing and interplay.

He has grown up so much in the time he has spent here and although she gets slagged off, I think the influence his missus has had on him has played a big part in his success here.

Congratulations Jamie, now my favorite Leicester player of all time.

What a player. Matty Elliot for a long time was my favourite Leicester player of all time, until Jamie Vardy came on the scene.

I actually think he looks quicker.
