One of Congerton's signings at Hamburg while he was technical director. In his interview with Celtic's YouTube channel I recall he mentions him as one of the players he 'discovered' and went on to do well.

Of course we then have the reports from May that we sent a scout to watch him play vs. Frosinone.

Could be an old link rehashed, and a lazy one from the Turkish press at that given Soyuncu + Demiral interest, but it's possible.

Mostly played on the left flank in a similar shape to us this season (4-3-3 with Suso cutting in from the right and Leao/Piatek up top).

What makes you say that Dan? Genuine question, I know nothing about him. His stats look half decent but they can be misleading.

Just strikes me as a player likely to flop. Stats posted in that tweet were well wide of the mark lol just think he's a bit of a luxury type, doesn't really add anything we're missing and will cost a good £30mil as well.

Really interested to see how congerton plays out over the next couple of windows .....we heard much negativity about his dealings and whilst we have signed some duds over the past couple years, we generally do ok in this area ....

They are satirically off. Don't think Milan have scored 27 goals this season

I’m sure they haven’t either. Seen something on the Ibrahimovic transfer which stated how poor they have been in front of goal.

I don't care if he's any good but if we can wind Arsenal up I'd do it.

A quick google tells a completely different story...

Milan fan's comments in that twitter feed do not make pretty reading...

Always a massive red flag for me when the fans who see a player week in week out chastise him to a man. He's 25 and been at Milan for three seasons so I'm going to guess he's been given enough opportunity to persuade the fans and at if you're not doing it at 25 then chances are you never will.

Feels like a ghezzal type player.

And if Brendan buys him he'll want to start him until he's proven good enough or not.

Yeah, there's very little in his stats that point to him being better than what we've got and the fact Milan are the pits and still want rid of him is a huge red flag.

Don't remember WBA fans being too complimentary about Evans come the end of his time there. Plus these Milan fans probably don't rate most of their players right now.

WBA fans thought Evans was their best player up until his last season when they thought he had downed tools.

A lot less, I think. £16.2m on Transfermarket and only 18 months left on contract.

AC Milan have reportedly revealed their asking price for Leicester City 'target' Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish international was linked with a move to the King Power Stadium on Monday , with Milan's Serie A rivals Juventus also said to be interested in Calhanoglu.

A set-piece specialist, Calhanoglu could depart the San Siro in January according to Italian media outlet Calciomercato .

They say a departure is a possibility for the 25-year-old because his contract is expiring in 18 months' time.

Milan are reportedly keen to demand around €20 million for the former Bayer Leverkusen man, with City enquiring about his availability.

However, Calhanoglu's rumoured preference to return to Germany - the country of his berth - could scupper a move to the Premier League.

He joined Milan for €24m in July 2017 and has scored 14 goals in 107 appearances for his current side, chipping in with 24 assists.

Calhanoglu has two goals and one assist in 16 outings this season.

He has 10 goals in 47 caps for Turkey.

City boss Brendan Rodgers has previously spoken about any business his club would conduct in January.

Rodgers' side are second in the Premier League after 20 games.

"I speak with the recruitment team a lot," he said earlier this month.

"It's an attractive proposition to come to here.

"If the right player is available, I'm sure the club will do everything they can.

“There will be plenty of players who want to come here."

I assume he was referring to them not being able to spell birth

What @ketteringscott said, unless you ( @MPH) meant to say he was berthed there, like some sort of boat?
