Why didn't the Sheffield players make more of a deal about it?

Small club mentality. A bigger club would've forced the VAR replay and got it.

I can only think that the Shutd players didn't see it either.

Fookin typical... I’m on a sizeable btts bet and a clear goal doesn’t get registered either by hawk-eye or VAR

Fooks sake...

No worries, just double down on Black Lives Matter for first goal scorer!  Easy money.

Football morality:

Leeds play on after an Aston Villa player goes down injured. Completely within the laws of the game. Villa (metaphorically) kick off and demand Leeds let them score.

Aston Villa concede a clear goal against Sheffield United. The technology fails but the goalkeeper knows it’s in. Nobody is suggesting that Villa let them score. Why?

Personally I don’t think letting the opposition score in either scenario is appropriate, just seems another odd issue on football’s moral spectrum.

Just said the watch displayed "goal" at half time while in the dressing room....... Unbelievable

Thankfully we've got some controversy, it can make up for a shit first half.

Presumably millions of £'s have been paid by the Premier League etc to install these and bring justice into these type of incidents.

Clearly the money would've been spent on better things..

We don't want Sheffield United winning though.

True as it would be disrespectful to not see them as a threat albeit most of us want them in Europe.

Well some things never change

Yes but even I didn’t think a goal wouldn’t be given because the ‘technology hasn’t been turned on’...

The Brits at present literally can’t get anything right..
