Villa (metaphorically) kick off and demand Leeds let them score. Aston Villa concede a clear goal against Sheffield United. The technology fails but the goalkeeper knows it’s in. Nobody is suggesting that Villa let them score. Why? Personally I don’t think letting the opposition score in either scenario is appropriate, just seems another odd issue on football’s moral spectrum.
