Tuna Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Tyler says Dani Ceballos, I hear Telly Savalas. 2
Jimothy Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Watford might be two down, but they're looking a lot more threatening than we were yesterday. I'd rather we put in this performance and end up with nothing than yesterdays performance and leave with nothing. 1

RowlattsFox Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Guendozi is up there with the most annoying footballers, holebas not far behind either. 1
Jimothy Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 (edited) I'm assuming Arsenal are paying a fee to each club when they play away to foot the plumbing bill, after Luiz and Guendouzi block the plugs? Edited 15 September 2019 by Facecloth

StriderHiryu Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Seeing Arsenal play painfully exposes our comparative lack of attacking talent. Vardy is a superb finisher and we have a better defensive foundation but we just can’t cut teams open as easily as teams like Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Man City. Not yet anyway. We will probably improve in this area over time but I feel like we need to go to the transfer market again to get one or two more. We simply dont score enough to be a top 5/6 team. It’s likely going to take a few seasons of transition to develop a better attack capable of it.
Jimothy Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Oh good, a fire alarm going off at stockly park. Someone has finally decided to burn the VAR room down.
Suzie the Fox Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 Hahaha Arsenal's defence is so shite.
ScouseFox Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 genuinely outrageous that arsenal are still taking the same goal kicks here
Tuna Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 "The Hornets are buzzing" Tyler must have been desperate to use that "gem". 1

I don't get it. I've not seen it when a team doesn't immediately put themselves under pressure, whether that leads to a mistake with them conceding a goal or not is another question, ok it might draw the opposition onto you but why instantly put yourself under pressure right infront of your own goal is beyond me, playing the percentages i'd say it'll cause more trouble for yourself more than it will create an opportunity going forward, it drives me mad. Brilliant! Glad they've ****ed up doing what I was asking about. Answers on a postcard if anyone can explain why this is the 'in' thing to do. Edited 15 September 2019 by Matt
RowlattsFox Posted 15 September 2019 Posted 15 September 2019 What is the point of taking the ball off the keeper? What is the benefit? Maybe if it's used as a diversion and then chip the ball to someone in midfield over the high press.

But to me it just looks like inviting trouble. 1
