Gutted for Ipswich though. They thought today was finally the day.

Silva is certainly under pressure, but how long can Everton keep doing this, chucking 100m in a summer window then sacking a manager and then the whole cycle continues again. Realistically they aren't going down this year, it isnt as bad as it was under Koeman's latter years, but who do you even get in after that? Everton feel like a club that could do with relegation, look how rejuvenated villa look with the fanbase and all of that after basically being Everton in the 2000s

4 points ahead of Everton, could be 7 next week as they're playing Man City. And 8 points ahead of Wolves who are in dire form. Surely we won't do worse than 7th this season!!

Don’t know how long but I hope it’s years and years - it’s hilarious

Some light relief if Silva gets sacked .

We just didn't give ourselves a chance .

We had 2 players who have hardly kicked a ball before in defence and 2 poor ones in Kiko and Dawson

No wonder we lost so badly .

I mean you forget West Ham and Brigton scored 3 against us at home !

Nothing up front to hold the ball up or pace to get in behind City .

Midfield over run and not putting tackles in .

Your not as bad as the score makes out, Man City were just firing today and I’m sure many teams will be walloped this season.

Out of the last year's chasing pack for the top six, Watford and Wolves occupy the bottom two places and Everton are 14th!

Tis the year of the fox.

Again.

They were bottom before this game. Pretty sure they are that bad at the minute

Surely that should’ve been a red?! (For anyone watching the Newcastle Brighton game)

Yellow maybe, no chance a red. It was without intent on the back end of a tackle.

Yeah looked nasty. I thought there would be more reds with VAR but we've already seen some bad challenges go unpunished this season
