Ric Flair Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Take that 5-1 hammering of us last season that we were 1-1 with them at half time and they really haven't enjoyed playing us in recent years. Even the 2-0 game they beat us at our gaff was a bit of a headache for them, Kompany could easily have been sent off after 2 mins and Vardy hit the inside of the post early in the 2nd half that could have made things different. There was a sense they may have upped the gears but it was far from comfortable for them. For a team as lethal as they are, we do seem to have a skillset that can cause them problems. I love the fact we will be really up for this game and this team will be very keen on getting in the spotlight by being involved in the outcome of the title race. As I jokingly said before though, maybe Kasper should have the evening off on Monday and let Danny Ward have a go hahahaaa.

What's more important they treat all fans very well. Except the ones in Heysel?
AjcW Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 I really think I need someone to take some time out in a private message to explain the Liverpool hate to me.

I think it's their following. So many plastics where l live and many other towns. Hillsborough was a tragedy as we know, it seems Heysel has been airbrushed from history. Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing.

It's a shame because as a city it's one of the most welcoming I've ever been to, I guess there's a real mix of allegiances there though. Have to say I wasn't aware of Heysel so thanks for pointing me in that direction. I think from a purely footballing point of view they're a great bunch of players and a great manager. I also no a lot of decent fans (i'm remembering back to the preview I did for their forum of our game this year, they were really complimentary about us) Personally I want them to win it but I know i'm in the minority.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Look we can beat man city and Liverpool can lose to Newcastle. Win win for those who don't want Liverpool to win the league.

But I want the "pool". To win...& This is the Game.......like Chelsea did for us,we have an Harzard moment, that a part of Leicester goes down in their annals of history.. That sudden moment, that turn on fate.... is Royal Blue.

No you are not in the minority...I am a big massive fella,we belong to true hardened deserving majority!!! we are a good city for the scousers,we were always there for them, when they got their release Papers from HM prison...

KrefelderFox666 Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Anyone wanting Leicester to lose is quite pathetic. That should never happen. If you don't want Liverpool to win the league, then hope they lose at Newcastle (not Wolves because we are "fighting" them for 7th). Picture this. Last game of the season, we are 3 points behind Wolves. Liverpool are 1 point ahead of Man City. We beat Chelsea and finish 7th if Liverpool beat Wolves (let's imagine Watford lose the FA Cup final). But that also means Liverpool win the league. There is no way I would rather Liverpool draw and give Wolves 7th place as a result just so a Leicester fan doesn't watch Liverpool lift the trophy. Anyone wanting us to lose to Man City, I really hope you are not at the game.
volpeazzurro Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Although against all the odds, I for one want us to beat Man City and don't have strong feelings about which team wins the Premiership. For me, good results against Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea will suggest to Tielemans and any other player we move in for in the summer that this squad of youngsters could be on the cusp of something special or at the very least, a team you could confidently move to in order to further your ambitions as a top footballer. So it's unequivocally a win for as I'm first and foremost I'm a Leicester fan.

As a team they are great to watch, have an excellent manager and wonderful players. I work with a fella, he and his wife regularly go to ‘Pool for weekend breaks and love it. I, myself was fortunate enough to go to the FA Cup final in 2012 ( Liverpool v Chelsea). I had a ticket in the Liverpool end, so could only drink around Wembley in bars designated to their fans. I had a fantastic time, the singing, superb knowledge and sense of humour. A great day. But l just don’t want them to win the Prem. All clubs have their share of idiots, l understand that, as well as great, honest fanatics. Also I’m loving Leicester City being in that tiny tiny group of teams to have won The Premier League !
yorkie1999 Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 2-2 and vardy to score anytime, that's the bet i've had anyway after a mate rang me up telling me he'd dreamt the score so he stuck a tenner on it for the first bet he's ever had! Omens!
st albans fox Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Just an observation from Sunday ....assuming that hamza plays, pep will have spotted on the tape that he is prone to dawdle on the ball on occasions at the base of the midfield .... knowing that wilf is not the most comfortable in possession I expect Man City will press us very high and with intensity. it could come down to how brave we can be playing out and attempting to beat their press. Scary evening awaits !
KingsX Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Thanks to Barca, we are now Liverpool's last hope to get anything out of a season where they could get to 97 points. Look for a match thread on RAWK

Ric Flair Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Personally I love the idea of being able to remind Liverpool fans time and time again that we won the Prem first and we basically won them their title, that's why I want us to get a result on Monday. Never ever let them forget it, so much so they wish they never won it. Oh and more to convince Tielemans to stick around and join Brendan's party boys.

Foxxed Posted 2 May 2019 Posted 2 May 2019 Not really bothered about Riyad to be honest. We get to watch Tielemans, Maddison and Barnes. Riyad gets to watch De Bruyne play from the bench.
lcfcell Posted 2 May 2019 Posted 2 May 2019 I don’t like Liverpool but I want to win. To see Pep absolutely lose it and have a meltdown would be lovely
