Finnegan Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Got a horrible feeling we're going to get a result here chaps.
StriderHiryu Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 I think we've been good. Keeping the score at 0-0 against a team that starts as fast as Man City is no joke, and they've not really carved us open. We are playing out from the back nicely. Sure it would be nice to cause a few more problems, but settling into the game before getting more aggressive is a good tactic. Such a composed and professional performance from such a young team, it's really quite impressive. At times we have also manged to drag their team up-field to then create space in behind them. The Spanish article mentions the way we are dealing with David Silva and Phil Foden, with Ndidi acting as a man to double up on the appropriate man when needed. So far I think it's working!
Brainy Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 I have the same level of nerves that Man City & Liverpool fans probably have right now, bit weird
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Just now, Koke said: We are getting a lot of praise by neutrals First time he's seen us under BR? Not much of a football fan is he?
fazzyfox Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 I know it always sounds wishy washy but despite not particulalrly visibly seen intercepting or winning tackle after tackle, Hamza is blocking more potential routes than a railtrack director on a bank holiday, buzzing about just cutting out possible angles making them turn back and start again, under appreciated but totally necessary. I'm knackered just watching it.
Vacamion Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Someone, somewhere, has told Wilf to win it and pop it off short, and his game has improved massively because of it. We look very decent. All three results are possible.
copunk Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Albrightons had a decent game for me but the obvious change in the next 15 is barnes to come on for him, reckon he could give zinchenko alot of problems
Blue ROI Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Doing ok lads. We will do well to get a draw but it's a good experience ahead of next season.
Bazly Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Another punter twitter comment about the cheating citeh. Quote It's funny that people have now suddenly discovered Pep's basic tactic of fouling higher up on the pitch. His great Barca team won so many trophies because of this.
Finnegan Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 "There's no way this game finishes 0-0". Jamie Carragher making sure this game finishes nil nil.
car1os Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Very impressed with how we’ve played so far - just hope we can press in their half a bit more as we can create chances here
UniFox21 Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Carragher finally understanding how football works; "Leicester needing to score to get something"

CollinsLCFC Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Whilst we have played well, we have wasted each set piece we have had with a half decent position. Against Man City, these could be are only hope.
