A story based on a "flurry of bets"?

There was a thread, but it was locked with good reason...

Because of all the things not happening, this thing is probably the most not happening of them all.

Fair enough. I’ll await the big lock ? then!

It's being reported in the national media, it's fair enough to have it's own thread.

Hardly he’s actually spoken about it!

Robben sounds for the Leicester ?️ "It's an option, but I do not know yet if it will be done, it's not an easy decision to make"

He is quality, I think he could make a good impact for us for a season or two at the most and help push on our younger wingers such as Barnes and Gray.

The translation is either off or they've taken it out of context. He wasn't referring to Leicester when he said that - it even says in the Mail article. He was talking about whether or not to retire.

Robben said: "If you decide you want to continue playing, you have to find a place where everything is fine, not only in football terms but also for my family."

Not sure where he got the option bit from

People are dismissing him based on his age, but having him for the games that we have all the possession and cant break teams down would be incredible.  Not to mention the positive influence he would have on others in the dressing room.

Should he be first choice, no. But as an option from the bench (if we can afford that option) would be a no brainer.

Surely we can afford that option. Just look who we had as "options" this year aha

It's a not from me on the basis that I'm quite sure he'd want at least 100k a week absolute minimum.

We’ll make that back on shirt sales with his name on, in the first week ?

Is he on a free? If so, wages can afford to be high, or a signing on fee.

Would it be unpopular of me to say that this would be bigger than Cambiasso?
