RoboFox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 A story based on a "flurry of bets"? There was a thread, but it was locked with good reason... Because of all the things not happening, this thing is probably the most not happening of them all.

Robben sounds for the Leicester ?️ "It's an option, but I do not know yet if it will be done, it's not an easy decision to make"
MrSpaM Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Well that at least confirms we've approached him if true
Happy Fox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 He is quality, I think he could make a good impact for us for a season or two at the most and help push on our younger wingers such as Barnes and Gray.

He wasn't referring to Leicester when he said that - it even says in the Mail article. He was talking about whether or not to retire.
les-tah Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Bet hes buzzing to get his own handshake and be around the other 21 year olds

Robben said: "If you decide you want to continue playing, you have to find a place where everything is fine, not only in football terms but also for my family." Not sure where he got the option bit from
Lambert09 Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 People are dismissing him based on his age, but having him for the games that we have all the possession and cant break teams down would be incredible. Not to mention the positive influence he would have on others in the dressing room. Should he be first choice, no. But as an option from the bench (if we can afford that option) would be a no brainer.
Stuntman_Mike Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 If his wage demands aren't ridiculous I think this would be a perfect fit.

Bryn Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 It's a not from me on the basis that I'm quite sure he'd want at least 100k a week absolute minimum.
WigstonWanderer Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Always reminds me of Jean Luc Picard, so I say “make it so”.

Clarkey123 Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Arjen, Arjen arjen, arjen arjen, arjen, arjen Robben! Make it happen!
Guest Manini Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Would it be unpopular of me to say that this would be bigger than Cambiasso?
