The Bookies don't fancy us for a Euro Spot.

The bookies table is basically a mirror image of last seasons table. I think 4-9 are going to be very competitive between ourselves, Everton, Wolves,  Chelsea, Utd & Arsenal.

This ^

A good season and we could finish as high as fourth, an average season and we finish 9th. Less than 9th will be classed as failure given our squad and manager.

Personally think Arsenal, Chelsea, and possibly Man U are all there for the taking this season, if we get things absolutely right.

Also think Wolves may struggle more this season if they make the Europa League group stages. They’re a good team, but playing Sunday-Thursday most weeks is a gruelling schedule.

We’re Leicester though, no guarantee we will get things right.

Liverpits ,  man shity and Manure

Man U, and not Spurs? Really? Bold statement.

I can see Man City, Liverpool and Spurs being isolated top 3, a lot closer than last season. Spurs may even finish above Liverpool. Chelsea to nick 4th, Arsenal and Man U will have a scrap on their hands but think at least one will hang on up there. Everton will push us with West Ham and Wolves just behind.

Racing Post, who for me provide the best season preview have predicted 7th for us this year and the top six will remain as.

They have gone Newcastle, Brighton and Sheffield United to go down.

Interestingly I started reading more of the season preview stated that there's concern within the bookies of Arsenal dropping out of the top six and us to be mostly likely the replacement. This stands from Arsenal's expected goals last season being a freak and a home record which will be difficult to repeat.

It's a market where there's uncertainly and the bookies are unsure how to price accurately.

Probably won't be too far off. I expect us, Everton and Wolves to be close and also pretty close with United, Arsenal and Chelsea potentially. Hope they've got it right about Burnley going down. Sick of Dyche and his shit team with his shit tactics!

the fact we are even in the discussion s enough for me. I think we will have a good season. silverware or a euro spot.

Not sure I have a sense of how FT members see next season panning out. There’s been a lot of talk (even from the manager) about challenging for a top 6 spot and a while ago, just after we signed Youri, I was very much in that space.

But I’m not there now. We’ve only signed three of the heralded five players identified early summer (by Rob Tanner & others). We still need another attacking midfielder, but most of all a goalscoring left footed right winger. With both, I could see us finishing above Yanited and possibly Arsenal. Without, I think we could aim for 5-10 points more than last season, which would be progress, but not ‘special’. And there’s still the possibility of our back four being weakened by the sale of Harry.

I suspect I really need @LinekersApples @Abrasive fox or @themightyfin to reassure me that there’s going to be a happy ending!

So we finish above Spurs? lol

Nice spelling of those teams btw, really funny and original.

Spurs won’t make top 5

why be original , after all your using the name of another well known man , no one is that “original” are they

On what logic are you thinking that Spurs will finish below Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd?

They haven't lost anyone and have added a player. The others have lost players (Chelsea a World Class one) and have barely strengthened.

If we take our blue tinted specs off then we probably wouldn’t either. Wolves, Everton and West Ham are all making good signings and until we keep Maguire and buy a world class wide man then our team is no where near ahead of the pack yet.
