You guys can't play Islam with Vardy that was more than evident. I always said, Vardy is the reason that over these past few years City has been a striker's graveyard

This is true. So I guess we'll just have to muddle along with JV for the time being.

Damn 5M is way to low but oh well.

He'll be 6 months from his 32nd birthday and we haven't been able to sell him for a couple of years. Who knows if he keep this up what sort of offers we might get but if we get a cash offer then sell whilst his stock is high.

We won't get an offer in January and he'll stay at Monaco and win the golden boot and we'll probably loan him to Monaco again next summer and pay half his wages. :D

The dude almost didn't play for 2 full seasons. He has way more football in his legs.

He may be doing well at last but let’s not forget he was largely gash for us and had a stinking attitude . Didn’t fair much better  on loan at Newcastle and was that bad in Turkey they wanted to send him back . Get rid

How many games did he do for Newcastle again? Thought so. He was bad in Turkey, I will give you that one.

Very few, he had an injury when he joined and then got himself sent off for some stupid reason so they sent him back.

Wonder which players we’re looking at swapping with Monaco next window?

Another thing to thank Puel for, establishing this extremely mutually beneficial trade partnership between the two clubs.

4 because although Newcastle gave him a chance he decided to throw it away with is shit attitude by kicking out at Craig Dawson on an off the ball incident  and getting a 3 game Ban .

Sell sell sell. He works in Jardim's system, both him and the coach have alluded to that. Will not perform in the current setup, not to mention Vardy and by extension most of the squad hate him. I'm sure if he keeps up this form he'll recoup us whatever he already didn't by helping us in the CL. Let him have fun in France.

Well if he ends up being the best performing player in Ligue 1 by January I think we can demand Atleast half of what we originally paid for him.

failed in turkey but can play in France, why is that?

Different leagues suit different styles, just as with different teams and fitting in there.

So many things need to go for you to succeed at a club, its not simply a case of being good enough.

Good for Slim, good for Monaco, good for LCFC, but a waste of 2 years in a short career.

It's interesting he is making so many assists, we barely saw a hint of that with us.

He got a number of assists for us!! 2016/17 season think he got 6 in 13 starts

It’s still a mad turn around, when you consider the quality of each league he’s doing better arguably with a huge step up.

I do wonder if he had anything happen to him personally that may have affected him.

At present, looking at all our loanees currently out there, I think we could field a pretty decent B squad that would perform quite well in most major European leagues. Discuss.
