Not only will he be expected to carry the ball, he'll also be tasked with winning the ball high up the pitch. I suppose Rodgers might have wanted to throw Wolves's preparation out the window, and the players picked means we can change between a diamond, 4-3-3/4-1-4-1 or even 4-2-3-1 without making any subs.
