I expect the usual running around with very little thought of what is trying to be achieved.

I'll still watch as its ridiculously funny, but it used to be about a job, now it's the business plan its basically a 12 week long episode of Dragons Den.

Best thing about The Apprentice used to be the aftershow on BBC2. Seems like Tom Allen has taken over hosting it. Might be a bit early to say he's ruined it, but he's ruined it.

They always have been scripted, previous contestants have come out and said they have had to do 3 or 4 takes of the boardroom scene because Sugar kept missing his cue for the one liners

I think all pretence that this is a serious business related TV show went years ago with a succession of comedy candidates in recent years and Al clearly loves the limelight (and the dreadful one liners).

 

Still enjoy it though even though this lot are the usual assortment of gobshites, loud, aggressive salesman Thomas a highlight of episode one, but only because I saw a tweet suggesting he looks like Biff Tannen and I couldn't get it out of my head.
