I was watching that video about Arsenal vs Leicester as a more appealing club, and wondered what motivation managers have. I honestly believe Brendan has more chance of winning trophies here than at Arsenal or Spurs. At the end of the day, that must be a huge plus for us.

It was his dream to play for them since he was young, his Mum tweeted something about achieving your dreams. I think every club would have been a stepping stone until he actually had a offer to join them. So he got an offer, didn't do a Mahrez and made us a better team without trying.

So, Congrats on achieving your dream, and thanks for making us more solid at the back.

I thought he was a sheff u fan? Errr

Tottenham have sacked Mauricio Pochettino. I hope the media do not try and link Brendan Rodgers to the job.

Seriously?   I can’t see two less likely people to work together than Jose and levy

It's got it written all over it for me.

The Times main article today was on "Spurs eying Pochettini replacement" - suggested Julian Nagelsmann (RB Leipzig) is first choice. It also says Spurs retain admiration for Rodgers (but who doesn't admire him currently?) - he declined their offer in 2012

Rodgers will obviously be linked because the media in this country have zero imagination.

But there's exactly 0% chance he either wants to leave while he's got us top four, 0% chance he wants to go there when it looks like they've probably already thrown away champions league football and about 0% chance Top is going to let him talk to anyone until at least the summer.

He'll definitely be linked but personally I don't think he'll even cobsider leaving for Spurs nor would our owners let him. He's onto something good here and I'm sure Brendan knows that himself.

No chance he'll go spurs. They'll go for Benitez I reckon.

That's a real good shout. Doubt Levy will have the stomach to compete with the Chinese.
