We badly need a bigger squad with more varied options so AL on a free does seem like a bit of a no-brainer provided he's not on stupidly high wages and passes all the medical assessments. He`s tenacious in the tackle, and can see a pass, and he likes to run at the opposition, still only young with loads of potential to get even better. I wouldn`t expect him to be a starter to begin with, but would be good coming off the bench when there were a few tired legs, and i think he would be able to work his way into the starting line up given a bit of time.
