Leon Bailey signing for Spurs, Shame someone I would have liked at the club.

seeing a pattern where players we would like to have (bergwijn , bailey) sign for spurs, even thought they are apparently nowhere near as good/big as we are  !!!!!!

Probably can pay more than us.

Jose affect must help.

Lovely new stadium.

Living in London.

Plus getting to the champions league final must have attracted a few players.

or just the fact that they are actually 'a big club' and have a global footprint.  not the same level as yanited/Liverpool but in the second tier with the arse and chels …..

Someone who regularly watched German football was saying he was pretty similar to Demarai Gray.  Obviously has talent but could be a frustrating player

exactly. would cost too much as well. Need to find someone with more potential or experience and better stats

To be fair, most wingers/flair players are frustrating to watch at times. It's the nature of the position I think.

Danny Ward's gone to Huddersfield:

(different Danny Ward )

A few scousers thinking they did an amazing deal getting 12m from us for him, then realising it’s a diff DW before realising that yes, they did have our pants down

Not one player that we are linked with excites me at all .

I think we should keep Chilwell.  What's the point of having lots of money when there is no one to spend it on?

I do like Edouard.

Trincao won't happen imo.  I don't know loads about him but I wonder if people's heads have been turned because he was picked up by Barca?   I've not heard that we were linked with Jovic but similarly unlikely, surely?

I don't think we need Mckinnie.  We need RW, CB and striker.

Just my opinion, but they don't get the juices flowing for me.

Trincao was linked in January and plenty were happy then, the fact Barca got him over us is annoying but for us to keep going back in for him suggests an air of determination that we believe him to be an integral and possibly the missing piece of this project.

Jovic has had an abysmal season and could well be available, we were linked with a season long loan and the option of a £35m deal next summer, that would be very tempting.

So a player with moles who won't be here next season?
