There is something to be said for saving one's self raised blood pressure by doing something else. If I need to get angry about something it isn't going to be a player daring to smile.

Being a fox supporter you should either get angry at said player smiling or angry at those who got angry about said player smiling. There are NO other options.

I want challenge the theory that our impact subs can’t seem to make an impact. During our title winning season (sorry to harp back to that) but we didn’t exactly have a world class subs bench back then either but you always sensed whoever came on whether it was Leo or sinji that something was going to happen. You could see the hunger in their eyes and relentless determination in their performance. So why is it not happening now?

Maybe all the players are not on the same page. Maybe the incentives or rewards aren’t the same. The passion or drive to do or die when the entire team is committed to the cause   Not the financial payback. Also are the coaches doing enough to rile them up? I don’t see anyone on the touchlines egging them on a la klopp style. With the absence of fans the coaches have to step up!

I presume we cant play that Hirst lad due to him not being registered? Need something completely different.

Play it long sometimes, show some agression and passion, get stuck in, chase them into the corner flag, high energy, high tempo pressing, movement. We need to win 3/4 games preferably 7, do whatever it takes.

We defend well , really well , look at the stats. Serious problem when our strikers can' t score from open play is our total ineffectivity at set pieces. Winning 1-0 from a glancing header or a scramble can be very satisfying.

Yeah back in the day , Elliott, Walsh, Taggart and Heskey were a real danger at set pieces everybody likes a nice football goal , but when push comes to shove I don't really care how they go in.

What would be perfect is if we could somehow figure out a way to shithouse a win. Something we are not capable of it seems.

Play absolute garbage but get a jammy goal from a set piece off someones arse. Id take that right now.

Back then we had a system that worked to everyone's strength and everyone knew the part they had to play, even coming off the bench. We don't have that now.

The system we have is being let down in certain areas, namely the wide attacking element. If they don't create chances, it starved the striker. If they lose the ball constantly it pins back the full backs puts our CBs under pressure and has our midfield chasing the ball.

We stumbled on a winning formula with the players we had that year.

An FA cup win would have been a sentimental choice but the big prize is still on the table. Only by getting Champions League football can we hope to build towards challenging the top 6 consistently. Arguably losing to Chelsea, however disappointing, could provide us with a better opportunity to clinch a top 4 finish from here. Another game against Man U and then a final against Man City would not have helped our cause in the league. If we can somehow get a win at Everton (a little luck wouldn't go amiss) then we are back in the box seat with 6 games to play and the quarter final defeat will be well and truly forgotten. Our recruitment in the summer will be very different if we've secured a Champions League spot. Only with more quality and greater squad depth can we progress from where we are now. Poor as our form has been since Christmas these remaining few games will likely be the best shot we are ever going to get. Just look at the way Chelsea, with all their current resources, are already retooling for next year. We have punched well above our weight this season and we are still in with a puncher's chance in the final round. Come on Brendan and the lads, pick yourselves off the canvas and give it everything you've got!

..Hard to get an understanding when you have not played together!!!

For that reason I would sub Morgan for Evans effectively only the one change in the back line and play Perez with Vardy for support.

Even harder to get an understanding if it is never tried. In my opinion it is worth a change, especially to rest one or two, try something different and give others a chance to stake a claim for a regular place.

We are awful at the minute but today at least we fought a bit better and were against a strong team.

Keep the team how it was today and against not so good teams we should start winning.

I think we need to play more compact and control the midfield better in a game away at Everton but have a threat going forward. So id play 2 up top.

Kasper

Justin Evans Soyuncu Chillwell

    Tielemans Ndidi Praet

          Maddison

       Vardy Nacho

Think this will help us control the game a bit better and also gets Maddison involved in the areas that can create. 2 Options up top will keep Everton nervous about over commiting.

We might lose width but give Maddison the role to drift wide but never track back..keep him up there with the top 2 , gives us more bodies.

I agree with you especially for the two attackers.
BR has to give up 4-3-3 because we don't have two high-level wings and therefore, despite the commitment of the boys, Barnes, Perez, Gray and albrighton, we no longer manage to create scoring opportunities.
So we have to find other ways. Perez and Barnes and Gray may well come in later, perhaps changing form, although Perez I see him better behind the central striker.
We hope for a great game which will bring us at least 1 point, but it will be tough!
Sorry my English, but I'm a big Italian fan of yours and I use the google translator!

I believe that with Everton it will be difficult despite Chelsea, we have shown signs of recovery both physically and offensively.
The commitment of ours was undoubtedly to the maximum but only with Vardy who is 50% forward we will never score!
the boys, Barnes, Perez, Gray and also the old albrighton, commit themselves but they are not Marhez ...!
So we have to find other modules and relaunch Gray and Ihenacho, resting Vardy, who could enter the current game and take advantage of the diminished rhythm.
Perez, then, I see him better behind the central striker.
We hope to do it. At least a point to hope ...
So I would play with 4-3-2-1: Usual defense; Praet, Ndindi, Tielemans in midfield; Gray and Maddison 3/4 and Ihenacho central striker.
Sorry my English, but I'm your Italian fan and I use the google translator!

Not going to watch this one.

If it's the same as our performances since December, I save myself a wasted couple of hours. (Most likely)

If we play well and win it will be a nice pleasant surprise and I can look forward to watching the highlights.

Win-win situation.

I've said I'm not going to watch but as the game gets closer I have to watch, I can't bear not to. It's like when Pleat managed us, We'd all storm out at the end saying "that's it for me, I'm not paying to watch this" but we'd all be back next game.

..this is not the time to bring in Morgan!!!

Bennett has not had the opportunity to play and the format for the back line is mixing things up.

With 2 upfront we are showing  different options and giving Vardy the support he needs.
