StanSP Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Forget what happened today in the match. The best news this season is that FINALLY Jamie Vardy wins the Premier League Golden Boot! Fitting that he does it in the season he gets the 100 PL goals too. Well done Vardy! Fully deserved!
Tuna Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 He'll be the first to say it doesn't matter because we lost the game and the Champions League.
sheffield_fox Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Amazing news. My favourite player of all time. So glad he's achieved this in his career. It was the only dampener when we won the league that he skied that late peno against Everton.
foxfanazer Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Well done Jamie! Dont see you getting many next season with this setup
Aus Fox Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 What a bloody hero! From where he’s come from to golden boot winner. Lets not let what happened today overshadow a huge accomplishment! Well done vards
evil jack Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 He only won it because other strikers were in transition.
HybridFox Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Really would have rubbed salt in the wounds if he didn't. Deserves it
spacemunky Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Happy for Vards. Amazing to think he could do it at the age of 33.
LestaAl Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Jamie -well deserved, my hero,........... keep going for a year or two more please- we still need you.
That_Dude Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Really, really happy for him. The only ray of light in this gloomy post-Covid season. Take a bow, son.
Ritchie Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Some achievement in this team.... well done Jamie, something to cheer 🍻
Mark_w Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Would have been a travesty if he’d gone through his career without doing it. Hope he absolutely tears the Europa League a new one next.
Tielemans63 Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Is it bad that right now this is absolutely no consolation? I'm sure it will be once I've calmed down
Corky Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Deserves Champions League football- been let down by his team-mates. Fully deserved award but I do imagine it will be bittersweet.

Fox92 Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Is he first lcfc top flight golden boot winner since Lineker?
foxfanazer Posted 26 July 2020 Posted 26 July 2020 Nothing short of a miracle to be honest. He can hold his head high
