Both option and obligation suit the buying party more than the selling party, with the option meaning the selling club have no power over cancelling the agreement but the buying team can. With an obligation it means the buyer can't get out of it nor can the seller unless they for some weird reason agreed to but the buyer benefits from delaying payment until the loan deal is up. 1
