Post Match Thread - Man City (A)

Recommended Posts

Wow.

I feared the worst when we went 1 down and the first 30 was awful, it was a training session, defence v attack and I don't care what anyone says, that isn't the way you play against Man City.

Everything I was critcal of last season was ringing true again.

After the first 30 we kicked on, attacked, moved forward, were productive. Any coincidence?

Fantastic stuff, let's just hope this is a learning curve of how you treat these games for Rodgers.

Brilliant win. Obviously Vardy will be MOTM but Mendy was immense.

Tactics absolutely correct, with a clownshoes defence like that there is no need to go chasing it at any stage.

Just hope the injuries aren't too bad but might focus the minds to get some deals over the line.

Man City only score from corners. Theyre just an expensive Burnley.

Seriously though, I wish they’d stop going on about their “lack of depth”. It’s a joke. They have the biggest resources in the Country, let alone the division.
