Very excited with this piece of business. He's exceptionally highly rated, has a lot of desirable attributes - pace, aerial ability, ball playing ability, aggressive and strong in the tackle - and comes into the squad to learn from two excellent starting CB's and contribute across a larger fixture list. He greatly strengthens our CB options as well, as we go immediately from relying on Morgan, Benkovic and his injury challenges and utility players like Amartey and Ndidi to have one of the best young CB's in Europe to call upon. If Sky are accurate too, then the 'up to 30mil fee' is much lower than what was reported at the start of the week which is a winner.
