Honestly who's responsibility is this?

We’ve already played 30 odd games this season on the back of no preseason and potentially have another 30 odd to go.

The injuries were always going to start racking up at some point, with a smallish squad playing every Sunday/Wednesday was always going to take its toll on the squad.

Why does anyone have to be to blame? This is what I find so hard about FT, people want a name to expose for everything. Sometimes the other team is better, sometimes people just get injured.

This season's injuries have been a joke. What's worse is we've lengthened players injuries by rushing them back or making them play on with them. That never used to happen.

Bit of a piss take that we rested players against Brentford so they didn't get injured and now 3 have gone down since they came back in lol

Noone seems to be going off in great pain yet ends up being out for weeks.

So many games, little recovery time and I don't know if they are using all the usual recovery treatments? Just rotten luck and is going to ruin our season if we get many more.

Are the players able to use the cryotherapy chamber things? That seemed to prevent a lot of muscle injuries a few seasons ago. Has it been binned off for COVID? New physio(s) not fond of it?

Maybe this is also having an effect?

I highly doubt that to be true at all.

I think I read somewhere that due to COVID restrictions they cannot be used at the minute.

Have we rushed them back? Or made them play on? Is there any evidence for this? Or just 2+2=5

It’s the sheer fatigue their bodies are under. I know it’s not comparable but you even feel it in your body as a semi-pro / Sunday football when you have to fit the games in at the end of the season

Who was injured title winning season? Kante for about a fortnight and Vardy the same. Pearson sides went seasons with barely any injuries and we loved it.

I really don't get that, given the stuff they are allowed to do.

Ricardo picked up another injury while recovering literally about 3 months ago. Ndidi played with an injury earlier this season and that sidelined him.

There's two without having to go back 6 months.

Who knows what they were carrying, what injections they had. And as other people are saying, this is a season like no other, and just about every other team is suffering similarly. We're not some weird outlier, some random victim of circumstance. The ref, on this occasion, is not only blowing his whistle against us.

To be fair, Ricardo's injury was a totally different one to the initial one he suffered. Not sure what the club or anyone could have done about that?

Correlation and causation are not the same thing. When Ricardo came back, he had been out for 9 months and the medicos would have said he was ready. We had other players doing well in his position and no need to rush him back - some times things just happen.

A lot rests on the players, if Ndidi said he was okay to continue in a game why would they take him off?

We’ve seen in the last couple of weeks with injuries to Castagne and Ndidi we will take players off if they are injured.

Vardy back for Sunday. Ndidi will be next week too.

Castagne and Fofana out for now.

We had no Pre Season. Played a ridiculous amount of games already and more to come... it happens.

As crazy as it sounds, if we were to lose a couple of players to a long term injury, right back and centre are the areas we have the best able deputies - Ricardo & Soyuncu in for Castagne & Fofana is relatively like for like.

Ndidi and Vardy back in a game or 2 and we are looking strong again, any further injuries though and we are looking extremely thin!

Correct, but this has been going on since about the start of December last year. Off the back of what had been for years a very good injury record. Then, we get rid of the bloke who had headed up that side of things... did we ever hear why? @UpTheLeagueFox Might know, but imagine he'd keep it close to his chest.

So cags and ricardo potentially need to play 8 games in 4 weeks after just coming back from injury?

Cags probably

I guess Justin can play RB if needed and use Thomas/Fuchs.
