Injuries at the club.

Why is it that since Rodgers came in and especially during the last year that we have had so many injuries to first team players? Certainly it is a lot more than what we experienced before? Is it because of Rodgers’ training regime? Is it because there has not been enough pizza making sessions? Is it because of a change in our medical team? It is beyond luck (or lack thereof) now. Castagne did not based on what can be found have an injury problem before coming but now he seems to be plagued by injury after injury. Something must be wrong.

Could be something as simple as the intensity of the training, he perhaps demands more of the players then say under Puel.

Playing more games than ever before, more frequently. A lack of a proper pre season and increasingly bad pitches all taking their toll I think.

Its not that hard to understand why when you look at the amount of games since the lockdown. Some are just bad luck but at high intensity sport you are always risking injury every time you play.

Tim as example is probably down to so many games so soon after a previous injury. I wont be surprised if the same happens for ricardo or Soyuncu with the amount of games coming up. I made a thread about the congestion and rotating and the overwhelming response was play the strongest team every game... if we do that we will get injuries as a result. We cant have it both ways unfortunately.

Two more games coming up in arctic conditions so wouldn't be surprised if we're even worse off in a weeks time.

Is your member name influencing your weather forecast? The temperature is set to be in double figures by Monday

Not in Prague ❄️❄️

Good point - was forgetting that. This year is going so fast. Actually, relatively speaking we've been quite fortunate. The temperature there has gone from a forecast low of -19 on Sunday to a balmy -9 by next Thursday!!
