Macaroni cheese belongs on a plate of macaroni cheese ONLY.  It is not a fvcking side to be added to other meals or put inside other food. People who eat in that way are the food equivalent of 1970s celebrity nonces.

Depends on what we are talking about. If you mean the american style mac and cheese by Kraft then i tend to agree (but in a bowl, not a plate. Yes, I am a baby).

If you are talking about macaroni and cheese "pie" then totally it is a side with say fried chicken or  jerk chicken or bbq chicken of some sort.

Should only be served if it includes chorizo and some chilli IMO

It can be a perfectly good side dish.  Putting it in stuff is weird though.

Wrong.

Odd, but maybe this is a common theme among people who eat this slop.

While I’m at it, if you eat pancakes (either proper ones or American ones) and you’re older than 11, grow TF up. They are not for you.

Try to tell this to the French, they will tell you you are talking crepe!

Next you'll be saying one can't have Coco pops!

Crepes were invented by a culinary master race which decreed they should be eaten while drinking cider - that’s adult food.

Pancakes are a gateway food into pointless, expensive afternoon teas with tiny triangle sandwiches.

Made some on the weekend for the kids for breakkie so of course myself/wife as well. Fresh chopped fruit on top with a little bit of 100% real canadian maple syrup cant go wrong once in awhile. Sooooo good.

What else can we differ on...lol

Correct. And calling it 'Mac and cheese' can go **** off too. It's way too much for a side dish.

Incorrect. Proper ones, once a year.

I'm with Daggers here. Macaroni cheese is a meal, not a side dish. And, both pancakes and maple syrup are overrated.

I think it's an age thing (not being ageist before anyone goes loopy) , if you are 50+ its mac and cheese on its own, anything below its acceptable as a side, in a burger etc.

I'll have to disagree, I was only 49 for half of last year and still thought it wasn't a side dish then lol

mac and cheese with a burger is like having spaghetti bolognaise with your fish and chips...just odd!

My daughter was born on Sunday. She's amazing, as is her mum.

I can feel the oxytocin and serotonin flooding through your veins. The love you feel for your kid and partner in those first few days is very special.

Congrats man.

 Do you like Yorkshire puds?

A pancake is just a flat version of the roasted/baked, not fried, fluffy and crisp delight that is a Yorkie pud.

Best pancakes I've had were Crackerbarrel in Florida. More adult than kid food.
