Been fantastic recently. He’s started our last 4 games which is a lot of minutes for a 34 year old.

 

Really shown his experience today, wasting no time to clear the ball away from danger & played a lovely pre-assist for Barnes goal. Seeing him run with the ball to the corner flag in the 93rd minute summed up his performance! 
 

I don’t think we could do much worse than Fuchs if we need a 5th choice CB next season..

He was very good today. Even that slight fluffed defensive flap for their goal didn't diminish a great performance.

Amazing for someone in the twilight of his career who could’ve taken the easy option of the MLS, but Instead decides to challenge himself to continue playing in the toughest league in the World.

Christian Fuchs on a free is quite possibly the most outrageous transfer in history.

 

Technically superb, defensively spot on. The way he helped Thomas through the game tonight and delivered a class performance himself is testament to his quality as a player. He has been absolutely invaluable throughout this period where our numbers at the back have taken a hit, as have the likes of Albrighton and Morgan. The old guard showing their minerals.

I read that he was impressed by the great escape when he was looking for a fresh start, he liked NP when they spoke and signed up accordingly.

Wasn't it brilliant tonight that five from the Great Season appeared tonight? - Fuchs Vards and Albrighton were terrific, Kasper made a couple of important saves and Morgan had a few minutes. Great players in a memorable win.

This was one of my favourite things about tonight. Clearly a positive influence. Thomas seemed to grow in to the game after a couple of early hesitant/quiet periods and Fuchs experience and reliability must have helped.

I love Fuchs. He still even has that rocket launch throw in his locker! Insider that head is a priceless football brain. We should keep him as long as we can, turn him into a coach or an ambassador. Legend
