Wolves (H) - Post Match Thread - 08/11/2020 1 - 0

The game was as dull as expected but we did the job. Given the injuries our organisation has been superb recently. Never felt under real pressure despite them dominating the ball second half. Have to take into account the fixture congestion as well, superb form..

Wolves are limited and it shown again, our penalty was lucky but gave us something to protect.

Fofana outstanding again, everyone pretty solid. Even though the likes of Maddison and Tielemans were quiet I thought they were good when they had the ball.

We seem under control so far. Long way to go but we look a tough team to beat at the minute.

And it's great to get another favourable decision against Wolves lol

A bit like the early part of last season, about the same time last year, where we were churning out win after win. Great team performance - special mention to Mendy, Fofana, JJ and Praet

The definition of scrappy but I'll take a scrappy 1-0 win over a scrappy 1-0 loss every time!

Fofana and Mendy immense. Fuchs rolling back the years. Justin growing with every minute. Youri: the Belgian Pirlo.

Great stuff!

Uffff, that was nervy, not fun to watch (did we expect anything else Vs Wolves) but they're the sort of games you got to tough out against cagey opposition. I feel we have much more grit to us this season to complement our free flowing footy and as such not counting out the top 4. Time to relax and have a beer!!

First half I thought we did really well moved the ball quickly against a team very good at soaking up pressure. We were by far the better side.

Second half was different as wolves came forward more. We defended very well and grounded out the result.

3 wins from 3 after the Villa game is an excellent return.

Special mention for James Justin. Not many players will keep Adama that quiet. Well done to him.

You could see that all those games had taken a toll 2nd half as City struggled to chase it around to the same extent, but that was a disciplined, hardworking shift they put in.

4 centre backs on at the end lol

Cheering Man City or the draw , now.
