Defensively brilliant from us today, only shots Wolves could manage on target are where they had to shoot from outside the box, only really the Neves shot that worried Schmeichel aswell but he managed to pull off the worldy save

We wont be sticking 4 goals past teams every week, sometimes it will come down to grinding out a stressful 1-0 win

And breathe.

First half was a walk in the park but when vardy misses the 2nd pen you know it will be uncomfortable.

Tbf wolves created little but schmeichel pulls off a world class save.

Top of the league - I'll av that thank you very much !!:schmike:

JJ and Fofana top class - not really a bad performance in the team other than Evans falling over at a critical point (something he seemed to do a lot at the end of last season)

Strange team selection but fair dues (to Brendan) it worked. Fofana looks like he has been playing for 10 years and we look so much better overall with him in defence. Six successive wins though is absolutely great, well done the lads, wrap up carefully in the next two weeks just Anfield to go to next. :-)

Wolves set up to score nothing and that is was they got, we were always going to tire but Wolves offered little onwards and upwards and time for break

Think that’s a little unfair. They started defensively and got more offensive as the game went on. We did the opposite.

They all deserve huge credit - we looked leggy and the passing went wry. However that’s the difference between average and good seasons when it’s against you and you have to dig in.

Every player I can think out there had their moments except probably Evans

That’s a great result. Wolves are always a hard game - organised, physical and with players that can really hurt you. Grinding out a win with a clean sheet is a great outcome. We can’t play brilliant attacking football every game. But winning a game like that feels just as good.

Huge win. Not pretty, but we held firm. Wolves are very limited but extremely hard working and will cause anyone problems, especially if they score first , they are very hard to open them up.

Forfana is the best CB in the league now VVD is out. He is going to be special.

Praet and Justin a huge mention to as well, thought they were fantastic today.

Good work from everyone else too, no one had a bad game.

One worry though is we look extremely leggy near the end. Vardy, Mendy and Tielemans in particular looked out on their feet. Great that bar Tielemens, they can all be rested now for 2 weeks.

Well done boys. Great composure to see it through 👏👏
